How do I delete the bookmarks on my iPad when the edit, minus sign, delete and done does not work?

I only have the iPad. I don't know of any other devices I have that would be syncing to it.

How would I delete them from my computer. It's a dell without Safari.
It still did not work. I try to delete them, they still show up.
Do you have iCloud Control Panel installed on your Dell?

Windows 7 and I have no idea.
I can delete them from Firefox but they are still on my iPad.
How do I push the changes?
It will happen automatically. You do not have to do anything.
I had it on but then when I went to check it, it was off.
Turn it on. With any luck it will sync from FireFox.
