Repairing Boot Camp after creating new partition

Hello everyone.

I have a rMBP15 inch (early 2013). It has Mavericks and Bootcamp (Windows 8.1). I made a new partition for Yosemite public beta. After working a few hours with Yosemite i removed the Yosemite partition again. Now i have my Macintosh HD (Mavericks) and Bootcamp partition on my mac (like before installing Yosemite).

The problem is : Bootcamp doesn't show up anymore when pressing the option key at startup. It does show up in System preferences and when i set bootcamp to default startup it states after rebooting : No bootable device --- insert boot disk and press any key.

Could someone help me repair the bootcamp partition and make it bootable again (all my files are still there)

I am having the same problem. While I am confident that I can get my bootcamp up and running.. Have any of you noticed that you can't resize the Mavericks partition back to it's original size (before running Yosemite)? Have any of you solved that yet?

I didn't have a problem. Once I deleted the Yosemite partition, I just clicked on the Macintosh HD and resized it to its full capacity (before creating the new partition) by simply dragging the resize control. This worked for me.

Yup, I'm having the same exact problem here. I can drag the 'Macintosh HD' partition down to the grey space and click apply but it goes back to the previous position (without giving any sort of an error message). Please let me know if you figured that one out.

I just dragged it until the bottom and it sorted itself out.

I got it !!!!, the only thing that i do, is clic to te "+" button and it apeear in the gray space " Macintosh hd 2", then i select that partition and next i clic "-" button

HodyWasp, yes, it does that but for me it didn't really partition it. I clicked 'Apply' after that or if I close DU and reopen it, the gray space is still there. Did you click 'Apply' and see if it really partitioned? (or did you close and open DU and check again?).
