Bogus phonetic "false false" added to contacts

I Just placed my contacts in my iCloud Email and turned off my yahoo contacts. No more False - False.

Yes, I know that thanks. This is a Yahoo problem. The fix is to put your contacts anywhere but Yahoo (iCloud, Gmail etc)

Yes, that process identifies it as a Yahoo sync problem with Apple. it works as long as u don't want to sync up ur contacts anymore. Once u add/edit contacts , even after ur solution, and then do a sync - problem recurs. not trying to b difficult, just trying to share info.

Not an easy task for me to change email providers right now - however, I am very fed up with Yahoo and their lack of support. Everyone experiencing this problem should report it via email (u will never speak to anyone) to Yahoo, so they accept it as a serious problem. Thanks Csound1 for giving me a temporary work around.

I had a devil of a time trying to figure out how to email or post a bug to Yahoo. Can you either post the email address or the link for reporting bugs Here?

I have also noticed that android users are reporting the same issue with the phonetic false false in the Yahoo answers page.

There is no direct way to contact yahoo that I could find. U just have to muddle ur way around yahoo.com till u can get to a place that will let u report a problem. Even with that, don't expect anything but basic email responses from them. But.... Having said that, there is power in numbers and eventually yahoo will have to get involved. Clearly it's a yahoo incompatibility with the new apple release, which is nothing new really. historically, these two companies have not played well together in the sandbox......

I'm having the same problem with "false false" showing up under phonetic name. I took my phone to geek squad at best buy. He said it looks like a bug from the last update.

It seems to be a Yahoo bug....And, since Yahoo doesn't provide an easy way to report ANYTHING, AND there is power in numbers, I suggest use all means to get this out on the social airwaves. I'm using this on Twitter:

I have totally changed my apple id and am not using yahoo for contacts. I have restarted my phone...problem still there. It does not seem to be yahoo as I am now through a gmail account. Geek squad thinks it's an apple update bug

Apple is saying it is not their problem & is related to Yahoo, either a bug or setting. I am trying to find the best way to get to Yahoo to see what they have to say. This is very strange, to say the least!!
