i have the same problem with my german yahoo account and i hope, yahoo will fix this problem asap!

This seemed to have worked for me, but I suppose it's not a long term solution if I want to keep my Yahoo contacts in sync with my phone.

Don't big companies do Q/A before they push out releases, how could this have not been caught?

I hope they offer a real fix to it soon.

Ok, I found a solution to fix the 'false, false' on my iphone. I turned off Contacts on the iphone and deleted the contacts. Then I went to my Yahoo account on my pc and deleted all the contacts, since they weren't syncing with my iphone.

Next, I went to Outlook.com and imported my Google contacts which was the same contact list that i had originally imported into Yahoo.

I exported the Outlook contacts to a .csv file.

Then, I imported that file into my Yahoo contacts on my pc.

Next, I turned on Contacts in my Yahoo account on my iphone and waited.

I went to my iphone Contacts and all the contacts appeared correctly.

Same problem for Dad who called with an issue because he thinks I work for Apple.. 😝 Other posts here show that it is due to an issue with Yahoo..

Go to settings and delete your Yahoo account. Fixes instantly! Then you can reinstall.

You don't have to delete your Yahoo account. I've made 7 edits to my Contacts on my iphone and the changes have stayed the same and synced to my Yahoo contacts on my pc. False hasn't reappeared

Mine is fixed! I got a case number from Yahoo and gave a terrible survey. Today it is fixed!
