How do I disable Adobe Acrobat Reader to prevent Safari from using it to open PDFs? I have Safari 7.0.5, OS X v10.9.4. FYI, there is nothing in my User> HD> Library> Internet Plugins folder. And I've already right clicked on a PDF in Finder and selected the option to always use Preview to open PDFs. But Safari still opens PDFs with Acrobat Reader. Thanks

Same for me and it all happened after the latest download of 8/3. Up until then it was fine.
The Adobe plugins are where I said they are. Please review the instructions for Step 4 and try again.
There's nothing in that Folder
That's not the right folder. Please follow the instructions. Don't do something else that you think will have the same effect.

GO TO FOLDER: /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/
