All images missing from thread 6448092

All images (four photographs, three screenshots) are missing from the following topic:

Storage problems, Core Storage, Disk Utility, checksums, fsck_cs and cksum mismatches

Please, is the problem transient?

We really have no way of knowing. The same thing happened to me when I added screenshots to a reply only to have the screenshots show up later. On the link you provided I can see the last 3 screenshots using my iPad.

… I am starting to think that there is something funky in the data of the DOS screenshots... looks as if they were originally captured by a phone(?) …

Yes, the four photographs were taken with an iPhone, and it's vaguely possible that all four photos were corrupt, but ASC did present all seven images without error on at least the following dates –

– and I'm certain that I reviewed the topic on various other dates; I would have noticed immediately if any of the images had failed to show.

So I'm almost certain that all seven were free from corruption.

RE: the Re: Re: Re: limit and why there may NOT be

First G, They gain because of the threading of replies -- RE: actually should be thought of as REply and REplies and REplies to REplies and so forth

For example:

would read something like this one:

From the email notice...

From the LINK in the email notice, then jumping to the top of the page "Title"

User uploaded file

I cant find one right off (I think I have seen this, but don't hold me to it), BUT the Title in any LIST might be truncated - as well it should - just imagine a title with nuthin visible but RE:s

bob, looks like six (and counting, maybe) not two 😉

The entire topic has been removed because "it contained information about beta software available only to Registered Apple Developers.".

The screenshots, maybe? Yosemite-style close, minimise and full-screen buttons were hardly a revelation. And the style of the toolbar of Safari was well publicised by Apple. The topic really wasn't about Yosemite, it was about Core Storage (and lack of documentation by Apple).

Ah well, I don't expect to use Apple Support Communities again. Farewell …
