Warning do not walk into a Starbucks your iPhone will get hijacked

Your phone will auto connect to their network and it will brick your safari until you clear your cookies and delete your history. Super f@&$€#%^ annoying. Is there a way to prevent Starbucks from hijacking my phone. Aside from never going there again which is probably what I'm going to do.
