sorry for not posting an update, but thanks for the warning, luckily I decided against it as there wasn't nearly enough dust to cause any issues. Phone looks clean, and not one person has been able to tell I have a protector on it (but then again they're the type who don't really care). I'll wait another week before commenting on how well the Nillkin screen does against scratches.

i just got my Moshi visor tempered glass (white edged) screen protector for my iPhone 6 plus - it went on in seconds and the good news is it is edge to edge - no uncovered area of the front of the phone - now wether it will start to fray around the edges due to the design of the 6 plus i can't say - but for now I'm delighted - this is the 1st screen protector i have seen or used (and I've tried around 4) that really is edge to edge - also installed with no bubbles

I too prefer the tempered glass screen protectors. Watched some test videos on them and they are absolutely tough, anti scratch as well. Unfortunately it can be quite expensive but i guess you pay for what you get. My mate found and bought this glass screen protector on Amazon US for iphone 6 plus which is pretty cheap, only $10.97 but man it is good stuff hey. Easy to apply as well, no bubbles like the films one i used to put on. Anyway, here it is if any of you guys are interested, thought I share this gold nugget. http://www.amazon.com/Tempered-Protector-Thickness-Oleophobic-Sensitivity/dp/B00 OSY5CMK/ref=sr_1_596?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1415504571&sr=1-596&keywords=iphone+ 6+plus+glass+screen+protector

iloome screen already cracked

I work in an environment where i sometimes find myself turning the flashlight feature on. I was crouched down looking at something couldn't see so I turned the "flashlight". I lifted my hand and hit something above it, so naturally the phone dropped. The fall was about 3-4 ft and i padded the fall with my other hand (couldn't get my hand under it fast enough) as it was falling. I expected to pick the phone up and nothing to be wrong. Wrong, the left corner (the edge is covered by my Pong case) cracked at the onyx boarder. The onyx boarder isn't made of the same material as the glass. The glass itself had about a 1/16" piece that broke off with the boarder.

I guess I should be glad my phone didn't experience any trauma, but I didn't expect this to happen either. I reached out to iloome on Thursday November 11, 2014. Lets see how fast their customer service is, or if they deny replacements.

I have the 6 and the Spigen case. Yesterday I bent over while wearing my phone in my shirt pocket and cleaning. It fell no more than 2 feet and landed on carpet. Yet the screen shattered. I've had iPhones since the first one came out. This is the first time this has happened. I just paid $109 plus tax to have the screen replaced at Apple Store. Now what? I'm stressed out that the screen will crack again on the slightest impact - and the genius actually told me that given the design of the curved screen, the slightest impact in the right area could in fact cause it to shatter again. I am very unhappy about this. Anyone have suggestions on how truly to minimize this risk (other than keeping my iPhone in a thick protective cloth bag at all times)?

hm… i own the larger model and recently fell with the iphone in hand. i landed on the corner of my couch table, cracked the cartilage of my ribs while the phone fell flat to the ground (face up) and slithered about 6 feet across the hardwood floor. no damage. (it was kept in a standard apple leather case and had only a very basic screen protector.)

the height from which i dropped the phone was at least 2 feet, most likely more and - apart from the distinct sound of my cracking ribs 😕 - the noise of the phone hitting the floor had me thinking that it, too, was broken. but nothing…

despite all this, it was not the first time i had dropped my iphone. so, i am wondering if there night be a flaw with the 1 you have. falling 2 feet and hitting a carpet should not result in a shattered screen - despite a curved edge. after all, this glass is not existing on its own but resting against a solid body.

very weird. i wonder if you could/should have it exchanged.
