I got my ZEOS screen protector yesterday, and installed it, but did not get a chance to take pics and write my initial thoughts on it. Here it is.

http://www.zeosdirect.com/index.php?route=product/search&search=iphone%206

Packaging

---------

The packaging was neat, and on opening it, found a screen protector inside the plastic installation unit, and a long soft white piece of foam covering it - I guess for some extra protection in shipping. It had the standard stuff - an alcohol cleaning wipe, a squeegee, soft cleaning cloth, 2 dust removal stickers and installation instructions.

Installation

------------

I followed their instructions, and cleaned my iPhone 6 Plus screen with the cleaning cloth. Then used the dust removal sticker to remove dust/lint. Now the real cool part! I removed the sticker from screen protector (which was positioned inside the installation guide), and placed it on top of my phone. I then glided my finger across the opening that was in the shape of an arrow, and then removed the sticker. I could see the air from under the screen protector moving out, and the screen was completely installed in a few seconds. Then I removed the plastic installation guide, and was done! That's it. There was one tiny bubble towards the bottom, but it took a couple of seconds to just push it out with the squeegee. I'm really very impressed with the ease of installation.

Product Quality

---------------

The quality itself is extremely good, and my finger glides very smoothly, and no noticeable fingerprints on it. Most good quality glass screen protectors are pretty good that way. But the main part about being edge to edge? It is! And how! Honestly, except for the small increase in height (think theirs is .33mm), I cannot even tell if it's even on, as you can see in the pics. Looks exactly like the original. I tried on a thin silicone case I had lying around, and it fit nicely. And then I installed my aluminum frame case, and that fit too. But if you're using a heavy duty case, it will not work. Even the guy at the company told me that. They have a "case-friendly" one too, they said, which is also edge to edge, but has a lower profile at the ends, if you want to use such a case.

Final Thoughts

--------------

Overall, I love this product, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I do not have any cons for now - except that it's a bit pricy - but worth it, IMHO, and will post here again, if something else comes up later. I would definitely recommend this product in a heartbeat.

Sorry for the long message. Just started typing and did not realize how long it was 🙂 . I've pasted some pics below, that I took with my wife's phone.

Cheers!

I bought the Zeos full edge to edge screen protector and I love it! I also have used it with 2 different cases and it works perfectly. Here are the 2 I have used. Apple's iphone 6 silicone case works perfectly with it. Also pictured here is the I Blason Clear bumper Case for the 6. You can't even tell that the protector is on there. Plus as stated earlier the install is so easy with their applicator they give you. Worth the extra money for sure in my opinion. Very happy with this purchase. Hope this helps anyone on the fenceUser uploaded fileUser uploaded file

@Dramr616 - I also ordered a full edge to edge protector from ScreenProtectors UK, I was hugely impressed by there customer service and discussing the different phone cases that the screen protector was suitable to work with I think there customer service was a huge plus point for me using there product.

I also ordered this case from them that had built in Gorilla Glass Screen Protector. - It does make your phone bigger but really is ultimate protection.

SCREEN PROTECTORS UK has it on sale also just now with Free shipping which is always a bonus.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried the Zeos case friendly protector with the Otterbox Defender case?

I just got an iPhone 6 plus and I MUST have a tough case because I have three small children and accidents happen! I had a 4s before and had a Ballistic case with built in screen protector that worked marvelously. I loved how it was attached to the case so nothing could get through the case to the phone.

The design on the 6+ Ballistic case doesn't look as durable, so I got the Otterbox Defender. I was disappointed in the built in screen protector because it didn't work. Verizon took it out and put on one of their glass protectors. I like the glass but HATE the gaps on the sides between the glass protector and the case edging. Kids + Sandbox = certain debris in those gaps that WILL scratch the exposed phone. I'm attaching a picture of the gap for clarity.

I placed an order with Zeos last night after reading this forum, but they wrote me back saying they can't guarantee the case friendly will work with Defender. And once installed, I can't return it. So I'm hoping that someone on here has either made that combination work, or can offer me a different solution of TOUGH Case + NO-Gap Screen Protector.

The above protector looks nice but doesn't offer any EDGE to EDGE protection for the iPhone 6 or 6S?

I still believe this model from Screen Protectors UK to be offering the best value for money and Full Edge To Edge Protection of the iPhone 6S.

ScreenProtectors.co.ukhas it on sale from £29.99 down to £19.99 and they also have a further 10% discount using code SP10 to save 10% on all items.. I just ordered another 3 for my colleagues at work to start using them and they ship WORLDWIDE...

I did lots of research while waiting for my iphone 6.

So far, if you want an anti-glare one, go for BodyGuardz Pure Anti-glare Glass --- $39.95

For the best price, go for TechArmor Ballistic Glass(0.33mm) --- $12.95

Or the thinnest tempered glass protector, go for MIME Feather+ Glass(0.15mm) --- $29.95

Other competitors:

ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass(0.4mm) --- $34.99

Spigen GLAS.tR SLIM (0.4mm) --- $34.99

Belkin TrueClear InvisiGlass(0.2mm) --- $39.99

NONE. The iPhone screen on any iPhone model is better than any screen protector you can put on it. 4 iPhones, 1 iPad, 7 years, none of them has ever had a screen protector. None of them has ever had a scratch. And any screen protector defeats the oliophobic coating on the screen.

I Believe Applecare+ is two years

im not sue what the fees are for broken glass as the usa website has me a it confused with that - mind you I'm in sydney in australia

Apple - Support - Service Answer Center

if looking for drop protection have a look at ilourge website review of griffin cases and slim armor of spigen cases. The griffin cases preach 4' drop protection if you want to believe that - see my earlier posting as I think I put links there......um maybe not

I read a lot about the griffin case as I am actually a big fan of them, I use them for my ipad and its great. The reviews for the iphone 6 have a few issues that I am sure you know of... I'm holding out. Spigen was high on my list but would require the purchase of iloome or other screen protector, which as we all note is way to early in the game to spend $30 (estimated) on.

As far as I have read Applecare+ only adds one year on to the already 1 year warranty provided by apple. I purchased my phone with a credit card that doubles manufacturer warranty anyway, but the standard warranty does not provide accidental damage, which applecare+ does, but does it provide the accidental damage protection for the one additional year or cover both years?

edit- sorry I just answered my own question:

AppleCare+ for iPhone

Every iPhone comes with one year of hardware repair coverage through its limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary support. AppleCare+ for iPhone extends your coverage to two years from the original purchase date of your iPhone (1) and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage, each subject to a $79 service fee plus applicable tax. (2)

Attached are two photos of a trimmed best-skins-ever screen protector. I've used both Best Skins Ever and IQ Shield - they're similar and both provide a relatively smooth, glossy surface, which is almost like glass - and they resist fingerprints well. The trimming is crucial - you must cut these carefully before the install so they are just a fraction of a mm short of your case or the film will instantly get pushed up by the case. Don't buy the "case friendly" versions - they look dorky and they come with cut-outs around the home button that will snag and lift over time. And don't even think about using these urethane wet-install films without a case, as they'll snag at the edges on the curved glass and peel up within days. Or more likely, within minutes.

User uploaded file

These wet-install films won't offer the impact protection of tempered glass, but I still haven't found a tempered glass protector for the iPhone 6 (or 6 Plus) that doesn't have stupid-looking gaps or borders. Orzly came close (as an earlier poster mentioned), but there are still gaps around the edges where the screen protector stops short and it's not oleophobic at all - it's a serious fingerprint magnet. Both Orzly and the iloome product have cut-outs around the home button and the iloome screen protector is also pretty thick at 0.4 mm; you'll feel like you're digging down into the Grand Canyon to press your home button with this installed. I don't recommend using those little stick-on home buttons either, or you might have a small problem with your touchID ;-)

Anybody got any good hi-res photos of an installed tempered glass screen protector for the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus that doesn't look stupid?

P.S. ScreenProtectors.co.uk owner - I'm sure your protectors are really great, with awesome customer service, etc, etc. But how about some actual photos (not renders), rather than just repeated spamming?

Re: Best iPhone 6 Screen Protector in response to silvershower

Hello all,

I know that this is somewhat late to the original post but I am currently using the Tech Armor Ball Glass and yes it does not cover 100% of the screen, you can look at this 2 ways one it's crap or two it does not get in the way of a aftermarket case fitting properly.

For those of you that are interested Tech Armor does make a full screen protector that covers edge to edge

http://www.techarmor.com/screen-protectors/edge-to-edge-ballistic-glass/tech-arm or-apple-iphone-6-plus-premium-edge-2-edge-white-ballistic-glass-screen-protect o r-world-s-clearest-screen-protector-retail-packaging-4565.html

I have the regular Ballistic Glass but I am going to try this one

I am sorry if this has been posted earlier, but honestly after reading through the first 20 pages I just skipped to the end.

After having the Tech Armor screen protector for a while after this post I can say it is a ok option. With that being said I wont be using them in the future. I had a breakage on my protector. I emailed the company and sent in the required information and pictures of the damaged protector per their request this was on 2/2/2015 after numerous emails 7 total in which I was told in email number 4 around 2/11/2015 after a quick verification email of my address that a replacement would be shipped out. On 3/3 after numerous additional email and no replacement I left to go out of town and returned on 3/8/2015 to no replacement on 3/9/2015 one arrived that had been postmarked on3/5. After opening and removing from its protective sleeve it was cracked. Now here I am on 3/20/2015 with 3 additional unanswered emails into Tech Armor and now going without a protector since 2/1/2015 I am on the search for a New Protector and A different company. I have decided to chalk this up as a learning experience.

I feel they have a decent product but they have no CS to speak of so if anyone is considering making a purchase of one of their protectors you may want to keep that in mind. Myself its just not worth the hassle if I had to deal with them again.

Does anyone on here have a preference or information on the Zagg, Spigen GLAS.t or the Zeos for a 6+

Thanks

Please please please post pics of the screen protectors on your iPhone 6. Bragging about a certain brand without any pics as proof renders your justification invalid. I don't care how good the brand is on other iphone versions. That does not count. It must must must be for iPhone 6 only and preferrably covers the whole glass surface area instead of just the screen display.

Thanks all

I'm not sure who you are addressing, but I don't think screen shots will tell you much. IAC, no one has posted any yet.

You are free to ignore my experience. I am not "bragging", I'm just sharing my experience that starting with iPhone 3GS, Power Support has, IMO, provided excellent screen protectors. I have put one on every iPhone and iPad I have owned, and they all worked well.

My current phone is the iPhone 6+. The protector does NOT wrap around the body. It covers the screen to the edge of the phone.

I have ordered a case that will wrap around the body from the back, and provide a small lip so the phone can be laid face down without the screen touching the surface.

The main purposes I use a screen protector for are:

  • Greatly reduce the glare
  • Mostly eliminate fingerprints and smuges
  • Protect against scratches, and minor falls/drops

I do not expect it to protect against hard drops, like dropping the face on the edge of a concrete curb. I have never dropped any of my phones, and I don't expect to start now. If you need that type of protection, then you probably need a full rugged case.

Common sense says don't put your phone in your pocket with your keys, don't set it face down without a case on it to keep the glass from rubbing, and don't throw it in your purse unprotected. Scratches don't happen by magic - something has to physically scratch the glass. If you're careful to keep that from happening, you won't have scratches.

It is interesting that we seem to have quite a dichotomy here. On one hand there are those that say a film screen protector is not enough, that you need a glass protector. Then there are those that say you don't need any protector. 😉

I guess I'm in the middle. I like, and have used, a high quality film screen protector for years. Although I am very careful with my iPhone, as I would be with any prized possession, I do like the extra physical protection. I also keep my iPhone in a case. I have a crystal clear case that lets the beauty of my gold iPhone 6+ shine through, while providing good protection.

In addition to the physical protection, I also highly value these qualities in a film screen protector:

  • Anti-glare
  • Anti-smuge/fingerprint
