Apple TV Buffering/Streaming Issues

First off, I have multiple Apple TV devices in my home. Over the past week, I have been having buffering issues on movies and TV shows purchased. Everything is hard wired ethernet. In addition, I have download speeds of 42MBS. It's only on Apple TV that I have the issues. I have tried the same movies on all devices. Anyone else having this issue?

New solution if using a iPhone as your home network.

Turn off home sharing at the ATV and your Mac.
Turn off wifi at the Mac
connect your iPhone to the mac using an available USB port.
from iTunes, select the ATV as your air-play device
just press play

I am currently having success in streaming music without buffering issues

In the Sharing system preference, eliminate your computer name and reinsert it. It does work with an assist from Apple Support.

I've tried this, it works. But just once.

Apple TV 3'rd generation used to work just fine before I updated to Yosemite, now there's all these buffering issues. Before iOS8 and Yosemite, things just worked.

Now, I feel like I'm in Android world and have to hack to make things work. This is very sad as I've invested into all Apple products.
