apple id forcing me to change my password.why why?

Why is Apple ID asking for me to change my password to get into my account?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012), iOS 7.1.2

True. It's a pain.

When I tried to log into my iCloud today, I was forced to change my password. I don't want to!

Can anyone help?

If you're part of Apple's developer program they force you to update your Apple ID password every 3 months.
