I just did the IOS8 update on my Iphone 5s and now I have no album for camera roll and instead it has 'Recently Added' which only has 25 photos instead of my 1000+ photos I had originally before the update. I still have all my photos on the collections bit but not in an album like before the update.
Help please?
Its back!!
Just upgrade to iOS8 mainly to get back to camera roll. It was a reall mess.
iOS8 does not have Camera Roll. It is returned in iOS8.1

II've just downloaded ios8.1camera roll is back!
but there is still ' collections' and years'
and along with folders, there are too many ways to view the photos
it gets a bit confusing

The collections and years have been around for a long time, now camera roll is back I don't even look at them. Only to share photos by collection on iCloud.
I Have forums, amd read them to gather feedback without the responsibility of having to respond
APple do the same
they Do read these forums, which are a fantastic free source of research data for consumer usage and satisfaction/dissatisfaction issues.
but of course, Apple also employ moderators to keep the forums clean too, so how on earth can they not be reading this? You obvously have not been webmastering in IT as lomg as i have dude.
