IOS 8 lost camera roll

IIf you are using the "events" on Mac - it is even worse! You can't imagine what kind of a mess I am having in my "collection" tab! that is one TERRIBLE update they made to Photo app! Now I can't separate my "events" files, from my camera roll files, and my "photostream" files (I am still using ios7 on my iphone, so my photostream is still in use on another device)

I am just another iPhone user amongst all the unhappy users here who misses Camera Roll. The Collection photo album is so messy and to be honest, I really hate the zoom in and out feature, and I also don't need photo details such as location, time or date taken.

Apple, if you are reading this, pls bring back the Camera Roll in your next updates.

Looking forward for your favorable response on top of the many complaints so far.

anyone notice that iOS 8 isn't in the drop down to select the version you're using on iPhone?

Who in their right mind would think that getting rid of the Camera Roll was a good idea???

Bloody Morons!

Everyone needs to keep sending in feedback to Apple. They do actually take that stuff seriously and will hopefully include an update soon where we can at least toggle whether we use the original camera roll or the new way. Just send feedback and hope that they will listen to us.

I Have found one more omission! I used to add videos (thru iphoto Mac app) to my "events folder" - now these videos will NOT sync!!! Another interesting thing, that I can see my camera roll thru iPhoto Mac app...

I agree. This is the worst change Apple did to Photos app. BRING BACK CAMERA ROLL AND PHOTOSTREAM ALBUMS!!!!

So, now I need to navigate into this messy events. Never liked this feature, when I needed to search for a photo I went to camera roll and find it quickly. I don't care about confusing dates or locations, I care about the pic I need and camera roll was the best option to find it. Also now I can't delete a pic I don't wanna share because I don't have a photo stream album to delete those I don't want??? Everything is gonna be shared???😠😠😠

I already sent a feedback to Apple commenting this. By the way there's no iOS 8 version option to select.
