IOS 8 lost camera roll

I just did the IOS8 update on my Iphone 5s and now I have no album for camera roll and instead it has 'Recently Added' which only has 25 photos instead of my 1000+ photos I had originally before the update. I still have all my photos on the collections bit but not in an album like before the update.

Help please?

Yes, it has changed. The Camera Roll is gone. You can make your albums as before.

If a third-party app needs to use the access to our "Photos", like WhatsApp, iPhone only shows up the photo albums... So, all of those pictures inside the 'Collections' won't be available, unless we create an album with everything inside. The thing is, everytime you take a picture, you'll need to add to that album to make it available for other apps. That is so not handy.

What's the point of "Recent photos"?

What's the point of "Deleted photos"? It will only take space on the device, if you delete something you expect it to be gone and release space for other stuff. I know that sometimes we delete stuff by mistake and I saw the "30 days automatic delete" in that album, maybe would be nice to select how many days or hours we want them there.

Please Apple. Bring Camera Roll back. Everyone is asking for it and has been just a few hours since the launch and people are asking for that since beta 1. It made things so much easier...

Not only is photo stream gone but so are my photos. I had to clean out my **** photos in order to do the update and all were in tht photo stream.

Now ow all pictures are gone. 900+ and whenI go to icloud there is nothing on my photos. What was the purpose of paying for extra storage and now everything is gone. I'm very upset as those pictures are of my family. I have three drop boxes but not all pics are there.

wwhere is my photo stream???????

And I don't like this stupid predictive word thing. I like how it changed it before.

if not for my daughter I would have never done this stupid update. And the fact that I had to delete a ton just to be able to do it makes me mad.

My last back up says yesterday and nothing before that.

Where did did they go????

..omg, what a stupid move.. Just bring it back, how it was in iOS 7, cause this is total mess! Why do I need folder for deleted photos and recent photos?! ..just bring back the camera roll folder. If I delete some photo, I know why I do it, so I don't need options to bring it back. It just take extra space and I have to do more steps to delete it from "trash" folder.. 😠
