IOS 8 lost camera roll

Yep, whenever I needed to find a picture I knew exactly where it was based on the pictures around it. It was the perfect reference tool. Just a few moments ago I wanted to show a picture to someone and couldn't find it for the life of me because I had didn't have that reference anymore and I couldn't find the picture and therefore could not show them.

I just don't understand who at Apple in their right mind decided to take away something so fundamental to the Camera application. And something that I've been using since 2007 on the original iPhone. Just moronic

Totally annoying and a large problem. I have over 4000 photos on my iPhone 5 and used camera roll to manage and transfer photos to my Aperture. I could find a photo in a few minutes at most. Now I can't locate pictures unless I know when/where it was taken so I can search through a "collection". The collections are not my making.

I can't figure out how to make an album without selecting 1 picture at at time. In an album I might want all 1200 photos from a year. Impossible to do. Help.

Apple, bring back camera roll, period. Let us then select and make albums from that or if necessary, smart albums. This is going to bring us into the dark ages.

Best case, how can I go back to IOS-7. It worked well.

Cant you all just create a new folder call it camera roll? i dont know I moved my pictures before I upgrades to my computer... So I am not seeing all my pictures on either my devices. I dont really notice a huge difference. Maybe its just a learning curve. 😀

BRING BACK THE CAMERA ROLL

It's just like there's all these unnecessary nuances in order to find a picture. With a digital camera there's not all of these collections, etc. etc. You just scroll through your pictures as you took them. that's how it should be

Apple made a huge mistake! Please bring the camera roll back. I cant send old pictures to my friends on Facebook or Whatsapp cause they arent in the Recently Added. They should stop making changes that we can choose if we want or not. It should have an option to have the camera roll or to keep it like the new one. I had to create a new album with the old pictures to have it there and that just doesnt make any sense.

I love how apple added this "Recently Added" that like houses 72 photos or so to make our lives easier. BUT whats the difference when I could just go into my camera roll and look at the bottom! Are those two things not the same!?!? Just bring back the Camera Roll album and make everyone's lives easier Apple.

I really like iOS 8. It really has some great new features.

But I totally agree with most of you, when it comes to the old camera roll!

I've always hated those stupid collections. They are confusing and everything else than user friendly.

BRING BACK THE OLD CAMERA ROLL, APPLE!!

Dear apple people,

Please bring back the "camera roll" and the "photo stream" folder!

the collection preview sucked in IOS 6, and guess what it still does!

II tried it won't let me post. Maybe Apple doesn't want to hear our complaints?

And now you have another unnecessary folder! I don't need a favorites folder I just want my camera roll back.

Im so angry on Apple for that move. Now i have total mess. It is sooo annoying.

I am asking everyone to (Yes) cancel their iPhone 6 order to make a statement to Apple that you want the Camera Roll back or a derivative of.
