Hello. 🙂 I had the same problem but i look further. So you can find it in Settings -> Cellular -> Personal Hotspot. Just scroll a little down in the Cellular tab and you will see it. P.S. The Cellular Data must be turned on to see it.

Glad I helped you. 🙂

Have a nice day,

Nick.

no quite, follow these steps

  1. click on SETTINGS
  2. Cellular
  3. Cellular Data Network
  4. under Personal Hotspost (enter any user name, no matter what as it will get deleted)
  5. Go bak to Cellular Data Network
  6. the Personal HotSpot OFF now appears
  7. Go back to Settings and you will see the Personal Hotspot option as it was under iOS7User uploaded fileUser uploaded fileUser uploaded fileUser uploaded file

MaxBook's solution doesn't work on my iPad retina. Any ideas on how to get the personal hotspot back? I'm going nuts, since I frequently depend on this feature to work when in transit.

Basic trouble shooting steps are Restart and Reset in that order: Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset No data is lost.

If that doesn't work then try a Restore: Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings Do a backup first though as it will erase your data. You can recover your data afterward from the backup.
