I see what you mean. Then it's possible that your operator is blocking tethering. Have you tried Reset Settings? Were you able to use Personal Hotspot before?

Hi , i was using Hotspot comfortable but suddenly it disappeared from the main option plus from the Cellular Section , only Cellular data , MMS is appearing no Personal hotspot appearing.please help , i have rest all settings plus Network settings but no success....

Your solution fixes the problem when there is Personal Hot Spot option in Cellular Data , the question is when there is no Such option available and only Cellular data / MMS are available then what to do , please guide in this scenario.

Please Just Go To "Privacy" then 'Location Services' then in that 'system services' then in that enable 'WIFI Networking'. Your Personal HotSpot will appear again 🙂 .

I had a friend's 5S having the same problem.

i tried all the suggested solutions here (plus multiple reboots later) and none works.

I had nothing else to try, and when I noticed the Data Roaming option turned off, I just turned it on, and surprisingly the Personal Hotspot came back!

tried this .... it was already enable.

still no luck .... just like Hasan and Munir are saying ... the option isnt there ....

i even tried talkin to the service provider in detail ....

they say they have no idea why this happened and apple should be able to help out.

Hmm, try this:

Go in Settings > Cellular > Voice & Data and switch it to 3G or 2G. Restart the phone.

See if the option appears after that and if it does, follow the procedure in the video to enable Personal Hotspot:

I have the same problem. The fix turn out to be simple. Borrow another sim card and put in, can be from any carrier and your phone does not have to be unlocked. When you restart, the iPhone will try to activate. Turn off. Now put your old SIM card back. Now your phone should ask to be activated again. This time activate it and you should see the hotspot. I think the carrier can push the setting of personal hotspot to you. Sometimes it is overwritten in your phone. Actication will reset it if your carrier allows hotspot.
