iOS8 - Strange diagnostic logs? (WATCHDOG)

I installed the iOS 8 on my phone and came across the new location of the diagnostic / data usage (in privacy now). I realized I had very few error logs that started with stacks + backboardd and date of the error. When I looked at the error logs, they seem to come around every hour or so, even when the phone is sleeping and doing nothing. The error messages all contain something to the effect:

These errors appear with frequency in my 5S, who were both new installations. Everything on the phone seems to be working, but I'm curious to know if anyone is getting this? I tried searching around, but I'm having trouble finding anyone else noticed this?

What services of the system that actually need to be activated? Anybody know so you can save battery drain.

Tks

I have some bizarre stuff going on with my diagnostic usage data messages also. Now I don't have any expertise but I do think it's odd that my phone shows an error message regarding a "findmydeviced" heading. We are thinking is is that I didn't use the find my iPhone app todayanytime recently yet it's apparent in the diagnostic usage as causing a crash consistently what is this mean does anybody know. My battery is hardly drink also constantly crashing.
