How do you change KM to Miles in health section on IOS 8
I know it's not a huge issue but is there a way to change from KM to Miles on the "Walking + Running distance" section of the new Health section?
Thanks
iPhone 5s, iOS 7

Simple...
Open Health on the iPhone and follow these steps:
Change the last option in the list—UNIT—from km to mi

And yes we still buy milk by the pint not the litre.
How is that relevant to a running/fitness app? Sporting events in the UK use metric, more often than not.

This is a bug.
the uk use miles not km's
please fix this
Not exclusively. Most sporting events use metres and kilometres... and this is a fitness app, after all! What we need is the option to chose the system we want. Then everyone's happy.
Just that the UK does not use exclusively metric or imperial. And I had not spotted (until I read the above post) that you can change water from Litres to Pints on the Health App. That said in UK we buy milk in Pints & water in Litres!
In the UK: Distance travelled is in miles (MPH speed limits). Warning signs are in yards not meters. However elevation is given as Meters above sea-level?
Yes some sporting events 5-10K runs etc are in KM. But for the much of UK who are NOT serious athletes we would "tend to think" in miles. This may chance as the younger generation comes through? (I am 43).
FitBit for example allows the user to select the units of choice. Apple should allow us ability to choose. It must be a easy fix at it is already within the programme?
Quite right - we use a mix, and every Apple app should reflect that and give us a choice.
By the way - we're the same age... and I do *tend* to think in miles... except when it comes to running, as I'm invariably training for a 10, 15 or 20K.
