Yes still showing the pop up msg on my iPad minI after updating to iOS 8.0.2

My pop up went away. I signed out of iTunes with my phone and turned off all automatic downloads. I then signed back into itunes and turned them back on. It finally said what it was trying to download, which was the Syro booklet. I deleted that from my purchase history in the itunes store and everything is fine now.

Sign out and and in to your iTunes store account and toggle the auto update buttons!!

I Think your suggestion actually worked 🙂 , in between I did also try syncing the U2 album booklet and the songs again , disabled Ibooks and podcasts , till now no Pop ups .. Hopefully it will stay this way...

Spoke too soon after nearly 6 hrs of no pop ups ,it's back, it came up three times each time I gave it to retry...

My iPhone 4s is having the same problem. I have turned off all iBooks stuff. It did not have the issue after the horrible iOS 8 update, just the update to the update that came out yesterday (8.0.2 I think). no issues with my iPad. Not only did I stop all the iBook auto stuff but I also turned off all updates and syncing, tried both suggestions of turning them on and off but nothing stopped The message from appearing.

im also experiencing the same issue. I have tried every combination of things suggested here and other places, nothing works. the pop up is still there. Ios 8.0.2 does not fix this bug either. Come on Apple get your act together and provide us a fix for this extremely annoying bug.

I have to wonder if Apple is even aware of this issue.

Same here... IOS 8.02 installed, deleted U2 and all other downloads, restored iPad and disabled iBooks content sync! Now trying to reinstall IOS 8.02 via iTunes. Works iPad, iPhone and girlfriends iPad/iPhone all fine...!

Help from Apple would be appreciated.

You guys are going to hate me, but I'm not getting the pop-up anymore. I disabled iBooks sync, like someone suggested, and I thought that was what cured it. But I've turned iBooks sync back on again now, rebooted several times, and I'm still not getting it.

Tthe only thing I had in itunes was the U2 album and the booklet appeared to have been downloaded already..........so I cleared it out. There is now NOTHING on my iTunes. I disabled iBooks' ability to contact the mother ship. do Dropbox and iCloud and verizon web just add more storage if I exceed my original limits? I haven't tried shutting down wifi, but could probably talk myself out of that......I take that back, I'm going to do it. Is ios8 able to update itself? Duh, will check for version running........and I probably enabled the automatic download myself. RANT RANT, AND FURTHERMORE. Problem only began today......I think.

IIf it helps, there had been too little room on this iPad to download the ios8 update. I deleted enough and it has downloaded now. So problem isn't directly caused by the iOS updats. So, being a Luddite packrat is sometimes useful.
