Updated my iPad 2 to ios8. Now I can't access my exchange account anymore. Anyone got the same issues?
What I tried so far:
Still the same error: "Accountinformationen konnten nicht überprüft werden" (german, translates like "account credentials couldn't be verified").
And yes, I am sure the password is correct, internet access is ok.

My ipad 2 stopped working again, so I reset the network settings and so far it seems to be back to normal! Makes me really afraid to automatically agree to future updates on an older device.
i have this same problem and have done everything recommended on this page several times and my Mail still does not worry. Has anyone found a fix yet. Steve Jobs is a marketing genius because Apple products really do suck
I had issues trying to connect my gmail to my iphone 6. Took me ages to figure out but you have to go into your google apps settings and grant the phone access by generating a password. I have a 2-step verification on my email hence why it wasn't connecting and saying "wrong password" when my password was correct. I hope his helps someone out there.

Worked for me to set up an exchange account on new iphone 6
This worked on my iPhone 6 (staggering that this is still an issue). Did not have to delete wifi settings, though (just turn it off, delete the account and the rebuild the account with wifi off). Thanks!! JB
