HI i restored my ipad in dfu mode before And its not worked
where did you download the frimware?could you give me a link?!
And please be shure and after that say problem solved becuase we cant restore to 7.1.2 any more
thanks
I downloaded with itunes on my computer. Saved downloaded firmware for later use. It is downloaded from reliable link.
I have face same issue after updating iOS 8. Apple please fix this asap.
After multiple restores, I find it is most stable if I do NOT install apps over the air. If I install them while connected via cable to iTunes, I do not see the frequent reboots. Time will tell.
I've been using my iPad since yesterday without a single reboot! before the recovery I wasn't able to use it for more than 10 minutes without the BSOD.
So we are saying recover the device, but don't restore the backup As the solution to this problem?
NOpe, I restored as a new iPad to iOS 8 with iTunes and I have the BSOD issue...
Hi Birju,
Thanks for your help! Have you heard any more from the Apple tech team?
Cheers!
Restoring the iPAd as new helped. I have not seen the BSOD lately whereas this was happening every 10 mins🙂
Just wondering about stability from those who did restore from DFU mode. Have you re-installed all apps? Is your iPad working without BSOD's. Updates please.
I saw no improvement after DFU restore. After a regular restore and only installing apps thru iTunes and not downloading them directly on the iPad, it has Been stable
As soon as I download apps it start happening again and the stops when I delete the apps.
Should "restore backup" be done after "Restoring the iPAd as new"/"recovery Mode"?
HI
i have bought iPad air 20 days ago and as sons as update iOS 8, it was randomly restarting With a blue screen. I approached applencustomer care and didn't find any solution. I got my iPad replaced and I again updated the iOS 8.02 and now it again started the same issue. I am not sure what's happenig and I am sure that Apple is not known for this.
hope hope they will take some action!!!!
I have updated it to 8.0.2 but still having the same problem though not very frequent. Does apple has a solution or we have to survive with this only??
My IPad Air was working fine with the IOS 7. I have never encountered a BSoD !
I was able to do my regular chores like mail, documents, read news, watch videos on youtube and play games both online(Clan War), offline(Subway surfers) and heavy graphics games(Tank).
But now after an update to IOS 8, i am observing the following :
1) when my tab is idle for hours, nothing sort of Blue Screen of Death Happens.
2) Playing games mostly online and offline with minimal graphics is working fine.
3) playing 'more' games mostly online and offline with minimal grahics leads to BSoD within a period of an hour.
4) Heavy Graphics games are not working in the first place, they are freezing and when i frantically check for Multitasking and switch to other apps, the other apps are working quite well. but returning to the same heavy game through Multitasking, i am finding that the game is still in a freezing state.
5) Sometimes the Safari is not loading, and in most cases its loading too slow.
6) All the Subtitles of Settings left Bar are empty ! I don't remember if they are empty in the IOS 7.
7) Sometimes when i press buttons like 'Cancel' they are not responding, i think that is due to the less touch area provided to a text field. Still i was prety satisfied with IOS 7. These kind of things hurt when you see BSoD, as we go into a debug mode and search for more bugs in the product.
I/We truly believe Apple is a torch bearer, and will be so in an innovative way for delivering precious things to people. These kind of bugs hurt us, hope you do your QA good this time with sufficient time for QA without pressure on Devs and deliver a good product in a period of 1-2 months.
We love your products.
