I Updated my iPad Air 16gb wifi model with iOS 8 yesterday and since then I am facing random reboots with blue screens. Is this a known issue or am I in trouble ?

I had the same issue. Rolled back to 7.1.2
SSame issue here with my iPad air running iOS 8
Happened with me also several times...and i think it will take a long time for these guys to launch a new update...but this problem is seriously irritating. I had bought my iPad mini just 1 month back. It was doing fine until the update and now I don't feel like using it thinking that it might just restart every-now and then. 1 more thing, is it something just happening with the Indian users??
HI, I am also facing the similar issue with my iPad air. After upgrading to IOS 8 i am facing frequent random rebooting of my iPad. Also, I noticed that the iPad has become slower then previous version of ipad iOS!
Thank God I'm not alone!!! Wondering all day what was wrong. Even had a chat with an apple representative but the couldnt help me out that well on this.. Common Apple you gotta fix this bug with ios 8.0.1 as soon as possible.. 😕
I have this same issue multiple times a day. It is very irritating. Hoping it's just a bug and that it will be fixed soon!
Same here. Blue Screen for a moment followed by reboot. iPad Air with iOS 8. Diagnostic data showes ##.panic.ips, Jetsamevent###.ips, stack+backboardd..... etc. Can this panic type be associated with Kernel panic. Never had this blue screen type restart before. It is occuring quite frequently. Several times a day.
Can someone help me about how to roll back to iOS 7. whatever it was before iOS 8 came in? Will I lose all my data, settings, etc., currently on my iPad?
i followed this one http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-downgrade-ios-8-to-ios-7.1.2/
i was able to rollback. Yea , you will lose all your data and settings. So backup them before rollback
Hey guys, the BSOD are gone on my iPad Air now, all i did is i close every app i have runing in the background. I really hope an update can fix this iOS 8 disaster.
webbo! It worked! Thanks a lot. I did what you have mentioned — closed all the background apps which aren't needed. And it has been quite a while since my iPad Air is running as smooth but much faster than iOS 7.1.2.
thanks a million.
Closing all the background apps DID NOT work.. in fact its gone from bad to worse.. maybe it was just a fluke..
tthis is affecting me also. Anyone actually logged it with Apple support team?
AvidKed, I agree. The problem started again.
I downgraded to 7.1.2. Now, it's back to normal.
i Wonder what's with apple guys? First this ios 8 giving trouble, and then I heard and saw a video showing the new iPhone 6+ bending!
Is this new ios 8.0.1 update solved restart problem or we should stay for next update?
