Can't copy + paste correctly on iOS 8

I downloaded iOS 8 to my iPhone 4s yesterday, and I've now realised that I can't copy and paste texts correctly. For example; when I write a text in Notes, marks it all and presses copy and then goes to Instagram and pastes it - an old text that I used yesterday shows up instead of the newly copied one. And when I copy the same text in Notes and pastes it into a iMessage another old text (a link in this case) from yesterday pastes.

The strangest part is that sometimes, if I mark word by word (til the entire text is marked) and then presses copy and pastes it into Instagram - it works. But I did this just now, and deleted the text and tried to paste it into Instagram again - then the old text from yesterday showed again, even though I, one minute earlier, was able to paste in the new, copied text!

Does anyone know how to solve this, or should I go back to iOS 7? Because I've heard that iOS 8 aren't really optimized for 4s' ...

what man . This is no good . Apple should be very carefull in such common native phone functions .

I updated 8.1 , because many apps in appstore was requiring new ios . Now i updTed my IpaD mini and iphone 4s .

Both of my devices have copy paste issue . Infact i sent wrong info to a customer . Which i copied and pasted in imessage .

WAkeup apple . So much updating . Seems like apple ASK users to update . Just to cover their mistakes . updating a 1.8 gb data file size is hard for people with slow internet .

Cheapest andr0id device can copy paste better than. My ipad and iphone .

Now i have to Update 2 gb data , lots of time , resetting all . Just to Copy and paste text . Thats so stupid .

Updates already spoiled iphone 4s battery life . 😠 . I wish apple take my apple devices and refund . So i can buy other company. Lol .

Ipad version 8.4.1--Cannot paste photo images from known formatting site to forum site I am using. Double tapping where I want to paste does not bring up a menu with the paste option. This is all due to,the lack of,the Control button--the basic,problem which,is confounding everyone. The "shortcut ^" button is nothing. You can not get to a dropdown submenu through the menu as a guy in Washington suggested because there is no "menu option" to find! Are these guys at Apple working for the guys at Volkswagen!!! Simple? Can u spell FRAUD in geekese.

Instead of double tapping all u do now is hold your finger down on the thing u want to copy and the copy icon will appear...no more double tapping to copy...do the same to paste.
