IOS 8 BLUETOOTH PROBLEMS

Same for me - a reset all settings and now it is working. I had to choose between this reset and install everything again, so I tried this first and now i can use my bluetooth.

Had the same problem with my Jeep. I did the following:

deleted all bluetooth devices on my iPhone

deleted the phone from my car's bluetooth paired device

swithed my car off

swithed Bluetooth off on my phone

rebooted my phone using home and lock simultaneously.

turned bluetooth back on

Started car and paired the two to again.

And now it works again.

iOS 8 problem by the look of things.

iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8 doesn't work with the Mercedes Command Bluetooth (tested on 2013 C63 AMG and a 2014 A45 AMG)

It pairs fine then instantly the car thinks it's in a call constantly. Calls can be made and received using the phone, however the steering wheel buttons do nothing and you can't listens to radio, cd, iPod etc without disconnecting the Bluetooth.Annoyingly it seems to be 6 Plus related as my iPhone 5 with iOS 8 works just fine...

Identical problem on 2014 Mazda 3. Again, my iPhone 5 and iOS 8 worked perfectly. Apple have really messed up here.

Does make you wonder of Apple understand the concept of interoperability testing or backwards compatibility...

The same problem with Quashqai 2013! with iOS7 worked perfectly!!! hope Apple will fix this bug soon!

I never had a problem with iOS 7 and the BT in my Kia, as soon as I put in iOS 8 things stopped working. Now I have to restart my phone and pair with my car everytime I get in. It is very frustrating. And obviously it isn't my car needing a firmware update because it works after I restart.

Same problem with Volkswagen 2011 CC

+1 with Subaru Legacy 2014 and iPhone 6. It was working fine with iPhone 5 and iOS 7

I spent 40 min in a car today turning on/off, re-pairing, resetting, rebooting - nothing helps. Audio plays to auto sysrem as well, but can not got or do any calls. Also, when calling car system does not show phone number like before

I have the same problem and tried everything.

Iphone 5s, IOS 8, paired OK on subaru outback 2011 . Tried also on Motorola Roadster.

I did :

1. reset Network seetings

2. rebuild the phone as new (reset) in IOS 8

3. deleted from bluetooth devices and repaired

The phone connects but when I make calls no sound on bluetooth speaker.

I am very disappointed and I think this is a major issue.I am not sure if is a hardware issue or software issue.

Tried another Iphone 4, IOS 7.1.2 and works fine, there is no issue.

I'm having similar problem with my iPhone 6 and Acura Tsx '10. My iPhone 5s worked fine but iPhone 6 is just stuck in discovery mode. I tried reset network settings as well as reset all settings. Neither helped. Any other options? This is very disappointing as Apple's products are supposed to plug and play.

I Am gaving the same problem with IOS 8 with my Iphone 5 and Subaru Outback. The systems do not connect. This is very frustrating.

I was having the same issue, my bluetooth wouldn't work for phone calls. I followed someone's instructions on this post and "reset all settings" on my iPhone. This worked for me! Thank you.

there is an issue with Bluetooth nothing wrong with playing audio over USB

Same issue with 2014 Dodge Charger with Uconnect. Can hear call if dial from iPhone 6 hand set but I can not initaite call or end call from touch screen or car bluetooth controls.Worked with IOS7
