IOS 8 BLUETOOTH PROBLEMS

I Have the same issue with a Ford Focus, the bluetooth worked perfectly with the car SYNC until I upgraded my iPhone 5S to IOS 8, the phone Bluetooth gets connected to the car but cant make a phone call neither receive one. Hope there's a fix soon...

SSince upgrading to ios8 all my Bluetooth devices in various cars have call issues. None now work. Also the call answer function on beats wireless studio headphones now no longer operates either which is ridiculous as apple own beats and they can't even get that right. Works perfectly with iPhones using ios7.

I have the same problem. I have a COBALT (Chevrolet) 2012. I can't talk, answer and/or close the calls. Please, Apple, solve this problem.

Hey... got the kind of the same problem with my 2014 Honda Civic... the bluetooth system is working properly (calls and music) but the usb for iPod function is not working at all. It does not even charge the phone.

I hope Apple gets around to fixing this soon... seems that the problem is general!

Mine is iphone 5, ios 8 and Mazda 2012 CX-9. After attempting a phone call my phone requires choosing its bluetooth before I can use. This app worked flawlessly with ios 7. The market news this morning says ios 8.0.2 is due in the next few days. Hope this problem gets fixed. As someone said previously, poor backtesting which is not expected from Apple.

Snice upgrading my iPhone to IOS 8, my bluetooth connection in my 2014 Acura MDX no longer works. The USB connection also does not synch. Sounds like everyone else is having similar issues. I hope Apple fixes quickly so people can avoid having to talk wihile holding their phone to their ears again while driving. It is also illegal in many states. Thanks Apple for making our life so much simpler.

Mazda 6 - iPhone 5 with iOS 8.0.2

USB iPod function no longer operates and Bluetooth music streaming has restricted functionality rendering it virtually useless.

Car has been checked out and is fine, it works on iOS 7 devices.

*may* work - doesn't for me or two other household phones.

Have you by chance updated to 8.0.2? I'm curious to hear if you still have connectivity with this update applied. I have a 2011 Jeep and had to reset all settings in order to get hands free working again. Now that it is, I'm cautious about updating so hoping that folks who have applied the patch with a working pairing can confirm.

Right. Nothing I've read seems to indicate that Apple addressed bluetooth issues with this release. Let me clarify my question.

Has anyone who updated to iOS 8, who experienced issues and was able correct them by Resetting ALL settings updated to 8.0.2? Right now I've got things working on 8.0 and don't want to rock the boat with an update until I know it isn't adversely affecting the connections.

Upgraded to 8.02 Same Bluetooth phone interface issues with 2014 Dodge Charger. No change.

i have done a reset all settings and now all is good.

Mine is Porsche Cayenne 2013 model. iPhone 6 Bluetooth not working for me as well. I can play music. But unable to make/receive calls. Even after updating to iOS8.0.2 still same issue. where as my old iPhone 5 bluetooth is working fine after updating to iOS8 and even iOS8.0.2.
