AirPlay not showing when Apple TV is sleeping

AS there is, after a month, no solution to this annoying problem, I'm changing my status from Apple fan to Apple dissapointee and soon te be a hater

Do the tech guys at Apple read these threads or is it a case of just a place for everyone to list their issues without any fixes being offered by Apple? I too have the exact same issue and it is extremely frustrating. Apple is supposed to invent/design things that make our technical experiences pleasant and easy going, instead they are becoming more like Microsoft everyday by releasing software updates without being fully tested and expecting us, the end user, to fault find for them, this after we have already paid a premium for their devices compared to others on the market!.

I don't think they even read these forums. They've been giving more time fixing the iPhone/iPad iOS8 issues rather than this. This is a deal breaker issue, I refuse to buy another Apple TV until this bug is fixed... Moving the device to wifi is not a solution, only a band-aid. Even if my ATV3's are under warranty, replacing them would be useless if I am unable to use ethernet to connect them.

Come on Apple, get your ish together... Fix ATV's issues too, do not leave us out.

Hi, I have installed latest update 7.0.1. Now the Apple TV was discovered by iDavice and Macbook but if i try to connect it to stream music nothing happened. Anyone was more lucky?

No me too! I'm on iOS 7 whatever before latest as too much still appears broken!

Nothing works now! IPlayer gives up after a few seconds, audio streaming doesn't even start and mirroring neither - oops! That's a crap update then Apple!

Ok it's something to do with sleep, if you reset and try all seems fine so obviously the coming out of sleep mode is not instigating airplay as it should - here comes another feedback reports apple... I'm going to try turning off sleep and seeing if that sorts it temporarily
