IOS 8 Home button bug

same problem here. ios 8 with iphone 5...

Same problem here. Sometimes OK. Sometimes 1 click gives me multitasking menu and sometimes MT just flashes briefly. I'm using the soft home button. Most people I know aren't affected but plenty of people obviously are, so I hope Apple does something about it, coz this isn't their best work. 😟

Same problem with my 4s! Really annoyed... APPLE FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!

i m also facing the same error, hope apple will release the update soon to fix this bug.....

Hold the home button till voice remote, than go back with the home button, again hold the home button till voice remote pops up, and again exit with the home button! Now it's ok....well at my device iPhone 5.

This also didn't work for me.

Same problem Here.

I've asked for support in the costumer area of apple, they only advised me to restart the software by turning it off/on.

At first seemed to worked, but the problem persisted.

It is quite annoying because the home button is the heart of iphone, and I hate this bug that came with IOS 8.

I hope they solve the problem...

Same problem on iPhone 4S. But iPad Air and iPhone 5 are OK.

Same issue here on a 4s.

Noticed it on beta 1 and downgraded to iOS 7.

Shocked they they didn't fix it in GM.

ANYONE try 8.0.2?

I Just updated to 8.0.2 and it's still happening. Sorry folks.

Here also same problem with Iphone 4S... still with 8.0.2.

The bad thing is that i cannot even downgrade to IOs7, Itunes does not recognize the iphone anymore.

The home button does work correctly on iOS7 but it's useless if i cannot connect the iPhone to Itunes.

I'am really DISAPPOINTED FROM APPLE!!!! THIS WAY THE IPHONE IS NEARLY USELESS!!WASTE OF TIME

(on iPad Air i don't have that problem.

Tried to contact the apple sopport but they what 35€ to have a contact!!!!!

THEY CAUSED THE PROBLEM ON MY IHONE WITH THERE NOT CHECKED IOS8 UPDATE

NOW it seems we will be alone with that bug!!!!

I also have this problem, really surprised it wasn't fixed in 8.0.2 as it seems like a major bug to me, it's really frustrating for me as a user.

Between things like this and the dreadful image retention I had on my Retina MacBook Pro I've lost my faith in Apple.
