TV Show Art / Thumbnails Missing On IOS 8

Gear: iPad Mini, 1st Gen, iPad Air 3rd Gen, iPhone 5S all upgraded to IOS 8.

ITunes 11.4 on iMac.

I have ripped TV shows with metadata and art that show fine in iTunes and worked fine on IOS 7 and iTunes 11.3 and before.

Now after syncing I have TV shows with just a grey square where the art would show on ALL my iDevices. I've done the following to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Removed the TV Shows from iTunes. Rebooted the iMac and re-imported the TV shows back to iTunes. Art and metadata show fine in iTunes, but upon sync to any of my iDevices the shows copy over fine but without the art. Each of my iDevices has its own iTunes library.

2. I've rebooted my iDevices and I've erased all content from my iPhone and did a fresh setup with a fresh iTunes library, yet the art/thumbnails don't copy over to the device.

3. I ripped a brand new TV Show that had never been in my library and that too, did not copy over the show art, but it does show in iTunes.

I'm not sure if this is an IOS 8 problem specifically but I'm leaning towards that. It may also be a an iTunes 11.4 issue. Nevertheless the shows do play but it's just annoying that the show art isn't showing on any devices.

If you've got a remedy I haven't done in steps 1-3 above please let me know.

Thanks.

Edit, After the no joy from above, I did a hard reset of the iPhone 6+ (hold home and power button for more than 10 sec) as a last resort. I am surprised to report that the Edge is now working! (as are my other BT devices that can perform call control functions)!

Thanks again for your tip, hopefully this will last!

Sorry for the off topic but it's all iOS 8 stuff, right?

having had to perform a RESET ALL SETTINGS and then a full erase/restore due to a bluetooth issue with my car kit,

I can report that it made no difference to my missing TV Show Art / Thumbnails Missing On IOS 8 that still fails with the grey film logo

😉 <<see how I brought this back on topic>>

...even tried rollingback one of my iPads, but failed miserably as I'd missed the signing window.

Let's hope a fix for both comes soon!

BTW, I returned my 6 Plus and am now bogged thru the process of getting a Std 6, the plus was just too big for general life.

Anyhow, I had to buy a 5s as an interim device while I wait (and after 12 days of using the 6+, it feels like a playing card!). Guess what? Running 8.0.2 all Bluetooth functions have been working flawlessly once again, for a few days so far.

<See how I did that whip around... 😉 >

Thanks for the bad news 😢. So your TV shows are all d/l'ed from iTunes? Mine are not but they've got all the metadata and cover art but the art doesn't show up on the devices. I have screwed around with making my cover art square 600x600 I think and that fixes the issue for the show art but not the individual episodes. But I definitely don't want to edit each show and change the art.

Need to contact them directly. Someone has posted a link I believe. Thanks for the info. In light of these BT and cover art issues for me personally, I decided to wait on Yosemite on my iMac for a bit. I did upgrade my Macbook and it seems to be working fine, but the first issue I ran into is my password manager RoboForm doesn't work in Safari just yet, so I delayed the upgrade on my iMac. Thanks for the update on the art though. Grr.
