iphone 6 plus pre-order delivery

Hi everyone!

I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 Plus (64GB Space Gray) on Sept 12th as early as I could (at 4:30 A.M. through the apple store app on my iPhone 5). I tried to order it earlier, but as many of us know the Apple store online was down. I was so very disappointed. During the checkout time, my estimated delivery was Oct 1 - Oct 6 and it would be available to ship in 7-10 business days. My email confirmation stated the same thing.

This is also my first time I have ever pre-ordered an iPhone. My current phone is in pretty bad shape. The menu button popped off a couple weeks ago (it's currently being held on with scotch tape...lmao) and my screen freezes up all the time. I'm lucky if I can answer phone calls. Its not reliable at all to say the least. I have been trying to hold out for the new iPhone 6.

I have been checking my order status relentlessly since I pre-ordered and of course, it still says "Processing Items", with the same estimated delivery date and shipping time. I'm am desperately hoping it arrives earlier than October 1st - October 6th?!

Do any of you know if I will ONLY be getting my phone during Oct 1 - Oct 6 or do I have a chance of getting it earlier?

Does anyone know where all they usually ship from?

Do they usually ship via Fedex or UPS?

I Did what everyone was saying & got the same results...EXCEPT for the fact that it's been over 36 hours since the status changed to "preparing to ship" & have yet to get the "my order has shipped email". Good grief, how long does it take to call UPS to have someone come and pick it up?!?! It sure would be nice to get my Verizon space gray 64GB PLUS by Friday, considering I ordered it on the morning of the 12th from Apple. I guess I need to get a life...

It probably took 48 hours for the Apple Shipping notice to arrive. I have UPS My Choice and got a text and e-mail notice well before the Apple e-mail arrived.

My order has said preparing to ship for two weeks with an expected ship date after Thanksgiving. Don't know what the hold up is considering most of the posts I read say it only takes a few days after the change to actually get your phone.

I just called that number and they couldn't help me. They said it was just waiting on UPS to pick up the shipment. Only so many phone are allowed to be shipped out at a time. I find that odd.

i purchased mine from apple store online obviously on the 13th and i never called them or anything like that just patiently waited and now it will be here on the 2nd of Oct. where did you guys order from ?

The iPhones come from China. There are only so many freight airplanes flying out of China every night. And your iPhone has to share space with iPhones orders by AT&T, Verizon, Best Buy, etc. Not to mention all the other electronic stuff that comes from there.

I ordered mine in the 12th from the Apple Store online. Still processing with a ship date of oct 13 - 20. Why a phone ordered a day later would come 11 days earlier is a complete mystery to me.

I just got updated info.

Ordered the 6+ 16/gray on 09/12 at approx. 5:00pm and it is supposed to be delivered Friday 10/03. The original delivery date was to be between 10/10 and 10/17.

My other 6+ 64/gray which I ordered on 09/22, nothing has changed. Still shows delivery date between 10/23 and 10/29.

I thought for sure I would have a shipping confirmation by now (ordered a iphone 6 plus 64GB space gray Verizon from Apple on Sept 12th at 8:37 & got a prepared to ship status Sat at 12:01am). LOOKS LIKE I CAN PRETTY MUCH KISS GETTING MY PHONE THIS WEEK GOODBYE! NOT SURE WHATS MORE FRUSTRATING, being told originally that I wouldnt get it until OCT 13-20, or being strung along by APPLE while i get false expectations from reading everyone else's early success stories of early deliveries?

I ordered mine from AT&T. I ordered it in the store on the preorder date (the 12th). still haven't gotten a shipping confirmation yet
