uninstall quicktime 7.1.3

I installed recently Quicktime 7.1.3 and now a program called KidPix I use with my kids all the time no longer shows stickers images. According to the KidPix support website it is because of this upgrade. Can I go back to 7.1.2? (Since the 7.1.2 quicktime installer refuses to go back to the older version)
Thank you for your help

Has anyone been able to uninstall Quicktime 7.1.3 and restore 6.5.2 ????
I have tried all the suggestions:

Reinstallers (all of them) in different ways

Use the original CD to reinstall software packages.

Etc etc.....

All the time there is this message: "You cannot install this software on this volume. This disk is dimmed because it does not contain an appropriate version of QuickTime"

I sent a message to Apple Support and they sent me back to this Forum

I also have problems with 7.1 and up. I need to UNINSTALL 7.1.3, but have not figured a way to do it. My disk is too full to archive and install, etc.

Please Apple Gurus, get us a re-installer to get us back to 7.0.4!!!!!!!

This is very frustrating. Additionally, make a way for us to say "No, I don't freaking want to EVER upgrade my XXXX unless I specifically check the box." in Software Update. Having all items checked by default got me into this mess. Now I am stuck with applications that don't work and no way to go back.

It would be one thing if this was a 'new' issue, but based on all the other reinstallers and the many other complaints and needs to GO BACK, it seems obvious that something is not right with the QT installs and that users need a way to DOWNGRADE QT whenever there is a new update... in case it messes up apps!!!!!

Please fix this mess. I love my Mac and I rarely ever have anything negative to say about things, but this QT stuff has bitten me (and many others) time and time again. So, one more for good measure: "We need a way to UNINSTALL EVERY VERSION OF QT JUST IN CASE IN WHACKS SOMETHING."

Thanks,

-Scott
