ios8 update music app not working

Same problem as everyone else. iPhone 4S Music App skipping MP3 (non-AAC) tracks synced from PC iTunes. After skipping, the Music App crashes and closes.

very very annoying, I listen to music on my iPhone more than I do anything else with my phone.

Apple, please fix this urgently!!

Nobody has a solution, or workaround? Is this an isolated problem?

So I've fixed it.

Connected phone to iTunes on PC and took all music off

backed up the phone to iTunes on my PC

restored phone to factory settings

restored phone from the back up

all music plays normally now.

Took 3hrs in total
