Just updated IPad 2 to IOS8 and now have no 3G service have WIFI but not 3G Says No Service at top

Yesterday updated my iPad to iOs. 8.1. Problems seemed to be solved. No 3g los untill this moment.

I Have the same problem rebooting works for a will we need a fix pleas

Well, with the 8.1 update installed, I no longer have an issue with losing 3G. Has not seemed to affect stability either. 🙂

SSame problem here ipad 2 , Telstra australia 3G, hard reset.....tried flicking on and off flight mode...that works sometimes....so ****** off with Apple, also now I have lost the AirPlay icon for the Apple TV. What's next.

After installing iOS 8.1 a stable 3G connection already for a couple of days.🙂

Remaining problem might be the iPad 2 becomes slow when free memory becomes low. For now I freed up > 10 GB of memory so time will tell.

updated to 8.1 yesterday - stable connection since then. And the iPad got much faster than with 8.0.2.

Hard reset has worked so far. Fingers crossed! But ipad 2 is much slower since the updated and has frozen for a minute now and then when I try to scroll though things.

sigh... wish I hadn't bothered to update.
