iOS 8 battery usage not showing.
iPhone 6, iOS 8
I have an iPhone 4Steve with iOS 8.. my battery usage was working fine since the upgrade and I loved being able to see that mail background activity was killing my battery, but now there's no longer any info in the battery usage screen. I don't know what I did. I have hard rebooted my phone twice since upgrading because I've been experiencing other very weird behavior, but I don't know if that would have affected reporting the battery usage. Will update if anything changes.
I have an iPhone 5S. Upgraded to iOS 8, and I see the same issue. Powered up and allowed the battery to drain completely, but it's still stuck to "Battery information will be available after using iPhone for a few minutes"
Upgraded to iOS 8.0.2, and I've used it for several days. No change.
Would be great if Apple could solve this, as my phone "over night" suddenly had power only to last 50% of the time compared to before.
Same problem here, Iphone 5, IOS 8.0.2, reboots, hard reboots, full charges, never worked for me.
try this:
1. fully charge your iPhone
2. with the power cable still connected & charging > go to Settings > General > Usage > Battery Usage
3. the counter should restart and show 0 min..
worked for me..
This has not worked for me for the 3 months that I've had my iPhone 6. I've reported it, and keep hoping that each update will fix it. Now iOS 8.1.3 update hasn't fixed it, so I'm really losing hope.
Does anyone have a real fix for this? The one listed earlier in this thread doesn't work for me, glad it work for the person that posted it, though *smile*.
Got to say that iOS 8 has more high-profile unfixed problems than most any OS I've ever used. I'm sure that there are those that would disagree, but that's been my experience with it. Apple keeps rolling out the updates, and the problems that I have and that I see others complaining don't seem to be getting fixed.
On my iPhone6, the info is displayed when battery capacity drop below 89%.
