iPhone 6 screen yellow tint?

I have exactly the same problem on my iPhone 6 I also had this problem with my iPhone 4 and my iPhone 5, I went to the Apple Store for an exchange.

Do you think it will get better with time (after one week)? It is still a history that has not glue dried?

Sorry to here that Antoine, I just returned mine and planning to wait couple of weeks 3-4 atleast so that next set of manufactured phones might not have this problem

Time and experience have taught me that the display issues don't typically clear up in time. None the less it sounds like a reasonable strategy and I hope it works out for you.

My yellow on my 5 never got better, but I exchanged a bunch until I got one that was not as bad. It still even in the end bothered me and I noticed it. I came here looking to see if this was going to be an issue again before I exchange for a silver one. Now my screen doesn't look grey in the picture above. My screen looks white. It looks like my iMac desk top screen sort of. Did any of you notice a big difference in the retina display in the new one compared to the 5 or 5S? Nothing really stands out at me except it is MUCH brighter. I still may go for silver. But if its yellow, I will get a refund.

I want to mention, I went to my local apple store when I got the 5, and all the display models were PERFECT screens. All the colors. Not 1 was yellow. Now I plan to check the 6 and I will see how it compares to mine sometime tomorrow. I feel bad for you all because I went through this and I was so upset. It is such a hassle to exchange phones and hope you get a good one. I pre ordered space grey and then I decided I wanted silver but of course they didn't have one so I kept the space grey thinking I may like it, but I really want silver. I like a white front phone better. They may have one tomorrow they said.

I heard on another thread it depends who manufacturers the screens. If you read the thousands of complaints on the 5, you would think they would prevent this by now! No one likes yellow, it is distracting. My eyes never adjusted.

This is the same problem with every generation of iPhone, only 5s escaped home ... It gets boring in the end. At least it's good to not be the only one with this problem!

Lisa the problem I have is not with yellow tinting. Its partial tinting ( yellow bottom n cool top ). Which is not acceptable atleast to my standards as it is really distracting

I had a 5 that was like that. It was partially tinted.

I just got back from apple, I checked every single floor model, not 1 was yellow. Everyone of them had the screen color I have now except a few were slightly dimmer, but still very bright. I checked the black models, the gold and the silver. I think the gold looks way better in person then online but now I am scared to change. I have to decide. I went to every single phone and held mine next to it. No hints of yellow.

I'll wait a few days and see if it gets better! Fingers crossed. 😐

Fingers crossed!! I will let you know if I get gold or silver and if its yellow. I am contemplating the gold.

sorry to hear that 😟 you can can apple care and explain it to them and try to return it. Can you post screenshots of white screen with keyboard up in landscape mode? So we can have a look and see how bad it is compared to ours?
