iPhone 6 screen yellow tint?

Brightness was at 40% in the picture. I do not use auto-brightness but always 40%.

I know, in reality it's hard to see...my husband i.e. would not have seen it himself.

Did you change your phone because of the shadow?

No. All genius people were busy!!! It is insane that there is no fast lane for phone replacement in Apple store and no fast line for warranty issue.

As a Apple customer I was in shock. They told me to come back after 6 days. I'm from Poland it means 500km form Berlin.

Could you take a comparison picture with your beside your husbands iPhone 6? I would like to show the Apple store genius what a "normal" iPhone 6 looks like. They seem to be having trouble seeing the issue because all of the demos have the same shadowing.

The left one is my husband's which has a great display.Today I called Apple in order to change my one (one the right). Hopefully the new one will be better...

Well if you are that worried about getting a yellow tinted 6 Plus then I would just stick with what you have. I took the risk and got a Gold 6 Plus on launch day and did not have any yellow tint issues. I did however had a cosmetic defect and returned/exchanged for another one. Even that had no yellow tint issue. However, after 14 day of use, I noticed I had a dead pixel (or I think it's more of a foreign object because as I look at it sideway it turns white, but looking at it dead straight it is black). I went to the genius bar, they agreed that there was something underneath and have replaced for a brand new one. And the phone that I had replaced does NOT have a yellow tint at all.

iphone5 next to iphone6 128gb Gold. Obvious yellowish / greyish tinge to iphone6. I'm on my 4th one and have decided to wait until after Christmas to try again.

I have 3 Apple products which are going to be my last. I have the iPhone 5, Slim iMac & iPad Mini Retina where they all suffer the graduating yellow tint to varying degrees - the iPad is dreadful and drives me mad. Even the Genius Bar say that this is within quality control limits (no it's not!) and any replacement that I've been offered is the same or worse. Since Steve Jobs died, this company's quality control standards have nosedived.. I was going to look at the iPhone 6 but noticed the yellow tint immediately and went for a Sony Z3 instead and couldn't be happier. How Apple can charge so much for such dreadful screen quality is just beyond me.

Apple... If you are reading this, sort out your dreadful screen problems as you're losing a lot of customers, you've already lost me. The yellow tint issue appears to be getting worse, do something about it !!!

I am waiting for my fourth iPhone 6... they were all yellow at the top of the screen...I am really sad about that... i show you a photo of one of my screens...

Sorry to hear that mate I'm going through exact torture like you are trying to desperately find a phone that has decent display. I have observed that all phones starting with serial C3 are plagued with these issues, just curious what your serial number is?

In the comparison picture, the one on the left looks a lot likely screen. It actually looks like a pinkish hue on the right and a greenish on the left. It bugs the daylight outta me. Swapping soon due to screen being loose in top left corner. First 2 iPhone 6's had much more uniform displays, except had dead pixels and or bright spots. *sigh*

Also mine starts with C3 :-( .......... I hope they will send me an iPhone with another starting number... how many iPhones have you changed??

I'm really having a problem understanding loyalty to a company that's had widespread screen problems for many years and failed to improve their dire quality control. Yellow tints, bendy case, fragile screen, dreadful battery life - I know what brand I'm NOT buying next! How do you guys put up with it? No wonder Apple does nothing. I love my 2-day-battery Sony Z3!

I changed 4 iPhone 6's all had C3 and then apple customer relations person helped me to go into local retail store and told them to show me all stock phones, I found 2 iPhone 6 plus with F7, and I decided to go with that. Now I am on 6th phone switched from 6 to 6 plus half way through

OOh my god!!! And now your iPhone is ok??? I will tell you my situation when iPhone will arrive!!!

Looks to me as though the plastic screen protector is still on the phone on the right. Take it off and see if the screen itself is yellow.
