Anyone one else notice this? When on silent mode my phone will randomly vibrate.

This happens 3-5 times today already.

Any suggestions or does apple need to come up with a bug fix?

Thanks,

that made the changes in notifications I have experienced drastic drops in the annoying phantom notification sound. I was it was still get something but I don't even notice it. I have to go back in and see which app I forgot to turn off. Remember I think the key here is to look into each of the apps that are not in notifications. Those are some reason clicked on even though they're in the no notification part

I need my phone on mate, if somebody needs me. The point I am getting at, is I don't want to be woken up for no reason at all, because of some bug.

Anyway Somehow it managed to totally close my phone down, with a full battery, as it went off about 10 tones. Then shut itself down, I could not get it back on, had to go to get it sorted. Apple sorted it for me, but said there is defo something up and are looking into it. Quicker the better eh, as I told them I want a knew phone no messing, if this does this again. There is a bug, but they haven't sussed it yet. But are well aware of it. So watch out folks for your phones going off, and not being able to switch back on, not that I am saying that it will happen to everybody, and not that I am saying that this bug cased this to do that, but funny how it has never happened to me until this all started. 😐

All the best

Right folks may be got a saloutiIon. After my last coment and having all this hassle. It done it again. So I done some research, and I have found that after iOS 8.1 came out, it put your messages on to push notification. So every time you get an email you get alerted. And if your like me and used to have your email on silent then this may be why. As before I turned of push I was going through my emails and it was updating ones and making plenty alert noise that I never had before. I have turned it off and no noise now. Fingers Xed!!!! It stays this way.

still didn't explain why my phone shut down and could not turn back on, hey I am not saying that this is the saloution but it could well be. Give it a go. Go to general , email and turn off push. See what happens

good luck 🙂

I had this not to long ago, did a restore with itunes set it up as new tested it for 24hrs and didnt have a problem anymore. So I then restored the backup I made and noticed it was back. Sooooo restored again, set up as new and just readded my information. Apps, sync'd over from iTunes on my computer, icloud I had my contacts in so just merged over etc. So honestly all in all wasn't too bad. Now if I didn't have my contact's sync'd/merged to icloud or any other email, then yeah would have been a bit annoying to have to manually add them. Either way give the restore, set up as new first a try. Cause to me I'd rather do what I had to do and have the issue resolved.

Good luck!
