wifi issues with iphone 6

Hi All,

Is anyone facing the issues with the wifi on iphone 6? I was connected to wi-fi but after I restarted the router by powering off/on, I wasn't able to connect to the wifi until I restarted my phone. Also even after toggling the wifi on/off on my phone I couldn't see any wifi signals where as I am supposed to see atleast 10 signals. Can someone please tell the steps to resolve this issue? Is this an hardware or an software issue on the phone?

I also had this issue whereby multiple wifi networks should have appeared but none came up on my iPhone. The only thing that worked for me was going to General > Reset > Reset ALL Settings. Don't even bother just resetting network settings as this did not work for me. The beauty of it is is that reset all settings will not erase any data/media/music or anything like that so it's definitely worth a try! Worked for me and my iPhone is now back to normal 🙂

I am now also having this problem. iPhone 6. It worked fine for ages with no problem and then it started dropping the WiFi. The only way to get it to see Wifi again is to reboot. I was on iOS9. Reset networks did not help. Did a full reset which seemed to help for a while. Then upgraded to iOS10 (Now on 10.0.2). Still had no problems and then suddenly it started again today. I have 2.4 and 5ghz plus wifi around our house but when it drops it will not see any wifi until a reboot.

Signed up just to say that I too have limited/no wifi reception with an iPhone 6 running the latest IOS 10.0.2. I've read all 15pp of this thread and tried all the software hacks without success. My iPhone 6 can only see a wifi network within a metre of the router. All the while, my other devices like an iPhone 5S, iPad Mini 2, Macbook Air and Macbook Pro see my network and the neighbours networks too. Would love to hear if more people have found success taking a hardware or software approach.

Did you ever get this resolved? My wife's iPhone 6 either has very low (1 bar) signal strength or no connection at all to our 2.4 band but has full bars to our 5 band. She's on 10.1.1 currently so I'm suspecting that version and I can't seem to renew her DHCP lease (but still trying) either. I have an iPhone 6 too but not having these issues so it I'm thinking it's hardware at this point. I really hope it's software based as she's off warranty.
