Problems and issues after updating to iOS 8 (iPhone 5S)

Hi!!

After updating my iPhone 5s I am facing the below issues. do anybody have any idea about how to resolve it?

1. My phone becomes very hot with a little use.

2. Battery charge is being very poor. From usage, I found most of the battery is being consumed by phone (low signal) and home lock screen. However, I found the network signal fluctuates between four and five bars which should not be a low signal I guess.

3. Previously on ios7 we had an option to enable cellular data without enabling 3G which consumed less battery power as it worked in 2G(GPRS/EDGE) network. Now in ios8 enabling cellular data enables 3G by default which consumes a huge battery power. Guess Apple didn't make a strong battery so far which can last the whole day on 3G network. Now, need a way to live the whole day with enabling cellular data on 2G only.

4. Have anyone checked the display by increasing the brightness to the highest in iphone 5S in ios8? I found all the images and backgrounds in pathetic quality and you can see your retina display is showing color gradients which horrible.

5. It costed 10% battery for my iPhone to complete this post :-(

I was very much enthusiastic with the new features of iOS8 but reality is very much frustratIng for me. Can anyone tell how to go back to iOS7 now?

SInce updating to iOS 8 I have had problems getting the apple remote app to work on my iPhone 5s with the Apple TV. It asks me to keep enabling home sharing even though home sharing is already ON. I tried a number of the workarounds posted on other posts but the issue keeps happening. I wantes to add that to this list.

i would highly discourage anyone with a iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, or iphone 5 from updating to iOS 8 until apple resolves the long list of bugs.

Hi,

I never thought my iPhone 5s could ever misfunction...but after I installed ios 8 I cannot even use my phone anymore. Apple had me go to iTunes and recover my phone then download all my apps from iCloud. We spent about 6 hours doing their suggestion, but my 5s is even worse. Is there not a way to recover ios 7?? My 5s will not even work now at all. I'm miserable, how do I fix this Apple?? I want you to buy me a new iPhone! 😕😢😟

I am using 5s and i am having major issues with wifi. Tried all the steps mentioned above including the full restore from itunes, but i am still having issues. For starters, the major problem is the very very small range. Wifi seems to catch my ssid only when my iphone is just near the router. As soon as i start to move away like even a foot away from router. The wifi signal starts falling till th point it doesn't recognize my ssid. My router is n300 belkin. It works fine with ipad 2 and other android phones. But this is frustrating. Any help please.
