Turning off camera shutter sound in iPhone 6

It does do the same thing as I don't turn the sound off most of the time. I've yet to have anyone in a room full of people, much less THE WHOLE WORLD, turn around to see what I was doing. They're all too busy staring at their own screens.

I am having the same isue. Maybe apple should provide the service to mute it in apple stores outside those countries. My Iphone is korean and it is very annoying, specially when I don't live there anymore nor plan to go back...

So what if you bought it in the country you reside (Australia) and the **** reseller (Kogan...an Aussie company) has imported them from Japan? Doesn't the reseller have a responsibility to inform the customer that the phone has differences to the ones usually sold here? I am NOT happy about the camera sound and would have bought it somewhere else had I known.

Then your complaint is with the unauthorized reseller. Did they also tell you that the phone will have no warranty in Australia?

Yeah me too. I need to snap for presentation in meetings or any other occasions. The engineers are *****. What they thinking by preventing privacy violation. Other manufacturers don't think that way. I wish to switch back to iPhone 5.

I wouldn't blame Apple for it first, I blame those countries (Korea, Japan, India, etc) first for taking on wrong resolution. The perverts should be prevented by introducing higher level of punishments, not by making everyone sacrifice their right for taking silent selfies, taking silent screenshots, taking silent photo of our lovely sleeping babies and the list goes on ... there are hundreds other good use of the silent camera than those perving activities and these countries completely ignored that.

Also, there could be a better way of implementation like making the force-shutter sound only available in those countries so when people are in countries with no such requirement, they can still use the camera without the shutter sound at MAX !!

Few weeks ago I had to work on a presentation amendments on a train with my iPad Pro that I purchased oversea and I needed to take several screenshots & send. My iPad was making sound like a crazy paparazzi and gaining so much attention with its new loud surrounding sound and certainly it was not very comfortable experience.

I was aware of this for phones but I didn't expect that would be a case for iPads too. Seriously ... who is going to take a pervy photo with bloody iPad !!!!

apple should apologize for this issue to their costumer

and off Corse they should replace this devices by new ones

TThey should warn the foreigner that the device is different. Now we are stuck with it.

they should warn us before we buy it cause costumer didn't know if there is a change on Japanese devices

IT is appear from Your solution that you have no experince on apple device with this issue we cannot take photo and screenshot whil music is running

So, you really believe that Apple mounted real shutter in the 6+ for Japanese market? Really? LOL

Why are you buying an iPhone in a country where you don't intend to use it?
