iphone 6 plus rotation problem

I am having problems with my new iPhone 6 plus. The phones screen sometimes does not rotate when I rotate in landscape mode, and sometimes it does. It seems like a software bug, and I hope its not a hardware problem. Also sometimes the icons rotate 180 degrees [it flips] and its stuck like that for a while. The odd thing is Safari does not rotate with it. So when I open a webpage the page bottom is near the thumb sensor, but the icons are upside down. Which makes me think it most likely is a software problem, but not sure.

Anyone experiencing this problem, any solutions yet?

I had the same problem. I just realised that my 'lock screen button' was turned on after I restored my old iPhone backup. Unlike old iPhones the 'screen lock button' is a soft button on control centre located on the top right corner. Please check this button first it may solve 'the problem'. Hope this will help. Gentleman, after a long ride, I finally got it. Its the FaceTime-App! You can reproduce the bug each time after you´ve used the FaceTime-App. It´s a nightmare but you can just make a reboot and everything works fine.

Dear Apple-Support, please fix this s*h*i*t* asap! I really appreciate it.

I have the same problem with my 6 plus 64 GB. This issue is incredibly infuriating, especially when i am trying to read a map and it won't turn quickly or in the middle of a text and i tilt my phone slightly and it rotates, but never comes back to the original position without literally turning the phone in a complete circle. FIX THIS ALREADY, this phone cost way too much for such nonsense.

I Have the same issue. Also I'm having problems with some apps and utilities while I'm using the Swift Keys keyboard. Any one having this problem that is also using the SwiftKeys keyboard?
