iPhone 6 not connecting to car Bluetooth

So I got my iPhone 6 yesterday, and while all seems well, I can't get it to connect to my car's Bluetooth system. My older 5S running iOS8 does fine, so I don't think is the OS... And, frankly, this is an after market bluetooth set up in my 2006 Murano, but all other phones can connect, just not the iPhone 6.

There is no manual for the car's system, but I've managed to get it to "search", and while the car does find my phone, there is no way to enter a code on the phone to get it to pair properly. And the phone NEVER sees the BT module in the car to do the pairing.

Again, this is NOT a iOS 8 problem... but one with the new iPhone 6

For everyone having this issue, this worked for me. My phone too was not showing the PIN for my Ford Sync. I got angry and just spoke 4 random numbers into my Sync and my PIN pad suddenly appeared on my phone. I typed in that number and it connected. The SYNC wanted me to tell it what number I wanted to use. Hope this helps someone out there as I see this issue on several vehicles. Try it and it might work for you.

I have an Infinity and I can't get the 6 to connect to the audio system. I can make calls and see my contacts but no music or audio books that are on the iPhone. I've tried every solution that's been posted here and none of them work for me. I appreciate all the help others have provided. I hope Apple will start providing some solutions soon.

I've now had this problem with TWO iPhone 6's, mine and my wife's. The only way I was able to resolve the issue with my phone was to take it back to the Apple store and get a new phone. My wife's iPhone 6 initially did connect to her car, but now the problem is, as many have stated here, that the music player connects perfectly but there are various issues with connecting cell phone service from the phone to the car. I have a temporary solution to this. In your Bluetooth car settings you should be able to disconnect the phone while leaving the player as is. This will allow you to make and take calls in your car but without using your car's Bluetooth function -- you'll have to use the phone manually. However the player will still work. Hopefully Apple will have a fix soon for this issue, because once you have it, there is NO solution except the poor temp solution I found.

iPhone5 with 8.0.2 > Bluetooth works with my new Audi RS4.

Got iPhone6 with 8.0.2 two days ago > Bluetooth not even finds my car ;-(

Before iPhone6 and iOS7 I was always confident with Apple. You could buy blind.

But now, everybody is bricking with Updates their Phones or have lots of trouble with upgrade.

Next time I wait and think twice before buying again.

Yes! I believe you've found the key: Settings/General/Reset All Settings. I did this with my wife's and my iPhone 6's and both are now working Hands Free with a solid Bluetooth connection for phone and music. I also did this same procedure on my iPad Air and it solved the Bluetooth issue I was having with my Bose Mini speaker. So for now unless things muck up again this seems to alleviate the problem. Thanks!
