iGasLog app is not working on iPhone 5s after iOS 8 update

I was able to retrieve my logbook by sending my .backup file to Online Anaesthesia after not being able to get a CSV export as had no device left with iOS 7.

will it import all my current settings also (eg types of anaesthetic, type of case etc...)?

Yes a complete import of all your data (including anesthetics, procedures, urgency, notes, etc), just email your .backup file.

After some pressure from anaesthetists I have updated Universal Logbook to auto import iGaslog export cvs files.

You can copy the cvs in via iCloud drive. If the name begins with 'iGaslog' it will assume the same field order as iGaslog exports and do a direct import.

I have igaslog.backup files - but only sent to my email account.

They won't open as they're not readable.

I also can't import them to online anaesthesia converter after downloading them.

Any ideas?!

I'm back to a paper logbook - have lost a year's worth of data..frustrating to say the least.

Thats terrible Kathleen. There must be a way of reading these backup files. I'm a NHS doctor and app developer. If be happy to have a look and try and recover the data if you like. To be truthful I'm curious to see how its stored. It may be possible to build a standalone converter or at least a process. I updated Universal Logbook to import csv from iGaslog and wonder if it would be possible to directly import the backup files.

Just as a follow up to this. I have successfully been able to read and convert a native iGaslog database to csv format and a format to allow upload to Universal Logbook. Happy to advise any anaesthetists still having trouble with this.
