ubd.exe - Entry point not found error

On my Windows 7 machine, I just allowed Apple to download an update for the icloud functions. After a system restart, the computer displays the following message: "The procedure entry point_Block_object_assign could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreFoundation.dll."

Can someone in technical support please suggest how to fix this?

I begin getting this error after upgrading to Windows 10. I've uninstalled ALL Apple products in attempt to resolve the problem. I then rebooted my PC and the errors went away. I then reinstalled the Apple products and the problem returned. WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO GET APPLE TECH SUPPOT TO GIVE US SOME HELP ON A WORK AROUND until the problem is fully resolved down the road? There are MANY people who have encountered this problem.

Thanks!

I have found these annoying “pop-ups” can be suppressed by disabling ubd.exe in Task
Manager with no meaningful affect otherwise.

In Windows 10 right click on the Start Button and open Task Manager. In Task Manager click the Start-up tab and
then highlight ubd.exe and disable it. Restart the computer and the pop-ups will hopefully be gone.
