How is this a useless discussion, you seem not to be understanding at all. NFC chip or no NFC chip, the payment should work for all devices. Do you understand?????

LOL......Sorry Vernz. This is a useless discussion.

Just how do you propose then that a Phone without an NFC chip connect with an NFC receiver?

These receivers in the stores are not made by Apple. They are not set in the stores by Apple. This is a technology the Banks and stores decided could be used for secure wireless payments. You need the NFC chip to be able to use the wireless payment system because the Banks and stores decided this would be the way it would work and have the necessary security.

Apple needs to conform to those specification if they want to use the wireless payment system that is already in place.

Without an NFC chip there is no way to communicate with the NFC terminal to process the payment.

Its like trying to send an email from a piece of paper. The Piece of of paper does not have he ability to send itself magically.

I know this is probably futile, but I thought I'd give it a shot any way.

Nicely stated. But you went and got all logical to a person to whom logic is wasted........

Yes i do understand this. You people want to think i am clueless uneducated, not tech savvy. I wish i could smack the lot of you's in the faces and make you understand the ideology behind my idea and the way apple should intergrade for all models of phones.

Half of you people are trying to mock me in thinking i don't know nothing. Put you money where your mouth is. The you guys just keep coming up with the assumption i have no idea and try to shut me down.

Go then don't write on here, don't mock me, don't be smart arse and make fun of me really? Immaturity? Helpful far from it,

So listen carefully there are ways around this **** the nfc chips. APPLES NEED TO LEARN HOW TO ADOPTED FOR ALL THE CUSTOMERS NEEDS. NFC CHIP OR NO NFC CHIPS. APPLE IS LAGGING AND COPY IDEAS IF ANDROID.

I am no where near going to tell you what i think because look at half your you your reactions. I hope some of you people choke on something, quick smart and can't breath.

You have yet to tell us what "this" technology is that can do secure wireless payments without any different hardware or how you plan on getting retailers and financial institutions to accept it. That's the problem you seem to not be understanding.

Most Android phones need not just the built in NFC but also a special NFC SIM. Apple has done them one better. What Android phones do you know of that can do contactless pay without an NFC chip? And, no, Apple doesn't have to learn hot to "adopted for all the customers". No manufacturer or retailer in their right minds does that.

Believe me i understand, more than i say. I watched the reaction i got from here and let me assure you i put be giving apple the idea. Don't be so quick to judge because you really don't know who the other person is about, what they know and what is happening with the person.

The problem is these's days everyone thinks they are Steve Job's. Please SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

What you think you know, you really don't know. Hate to break the news to you. But you really just don't know. But you think you know. Goodluck to you thick headed people on here. That can't comprehended ways around a NFC Chip.

In the beginning i was willing to share and ask for further advances and steps to get this up running but after some of your attitudes, the comment above statement is how i feel about the lot of you.

Put your money where you mouth is, sweetie, preferably without the ad hominem attacks. You've demonstrated nothing but misapprehension and stubbornness. I imagine that's how most people here will remember you when you've gone. Prove me wrong.

Why are you wasting your time and energy on a hopelessly clueless and befuddled individual? He doesn't get it. He'll never get it. It really is time to just ignore him and let this sad thread die from lack of interest.

Saw it best on a T-Shirt a couple of weeks ago: "I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you."

And just to make it more complex for Vernz, it isn't just the NFC chip that is missing from previous devices for Apple Pay to work, you also have to have what Apple is calling the Secure Chip, which the iPhone 6, 6 Plus and Apple Watch have. The others don't.
