my predictive text disappeared. Any idea how to get it back?

I find, even now on iOS8.02 it keeps disappearing and you have to do the "switch it off and on again" routine described above to get it back. Hope they fix that with iOS8.1 on Monday!

Thanks to Jan-Louis and to all the others who explained the quick fix for predictive disappearing. SO appreciate it! So annoying to keep resetting in settings.

I Have the same problem. This morning the predictive text disappeared in the middle of a text.

Thanks for that, been doing my head in. PT was already switched on, but turning off and on again restored it.

I'm now experiencing this issue in safari, with iOS 10.0.2 and an iPhone 7 plus. This isn't being resolved by your suggestions. Anyone any ideas?
