Why does Siri bluetooth connection in 2008 Toyota Prius with iOS 8 terminate outgoing call with message "call terminated by network" on Prius screen

I stand corrected - I checked and there was indeed an update to the iOS I installed just last week. And it DOES work with my Sienna now. All fixed.

Any luck with 8.2?

I updated to 8.2 last night, and tested this in my Nissan 370Z this morning, and it worked! Finally! It hadn't worked for months - since iOS 7 or 8...I can't even remember which one stuffed it.

As I mentioned in my last post, after the iOS 8.2 update, the phone worked perfectly with the 2008 Prius once again, just as it had in iOS 7.

2007 Prius Owner. . I also had the IOS 8 wifi issue (see the 140 page thread). Thru sheer luck the problem went away; thousands of others not so lucky and are still stuck with wifi issue after 8.2.

So my question: Has anyone else experience both problems? I'm afraid to update yet, since I'm not sure I can recreate the fix (got two iPhone 5's to connect at home without issues). I don't want to return to turning off/on wifi every 1-2 minutes.

The 8.2 update certainly seems to have solved the issue with SIRI initiated calls being terminated but last night the call went through but disconnected from my car kit (Land Cruiser 200 Sahara built-in). Turned car off and made the phone re-connect and all good. Never had any issue with the 5s not connecting to WIFI however at least that has always worked no matter what OS.

Has anyone got 8.2 to work with a 2010 Prius? Ours does not work with 8.2. Our 2009 Lexus GS350 does work with Siri calling.

Just weighing in to report I Have 2007 Lexus ES 350 and had no problem initiating calls with Siri on iPhone 5s prior to IOS 8 release. Has never worked since 8.0 release and I am current with iOS 8.1.3 still can't initiate calls from Siri. Ridiculous, Apple!

My 2009 Prius is now accepting calls from my iPhone with the latest iOS. For me, issue resolved.

I have the same car & the just release v8.2 resolves the issue.

I am happy to report v8.2 has resolved the SIRI disconnection problem for our 2007 Prius with JBL and no navigation, and our 2009 Prius w navigation. Both vehicles now work with iPhone 4s, 5, 5s and 6+

We can call legally and more safely again while driving!

2007 with JBL no navigation and 2009 with navigation both working
