Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Iphone 6 Plus 64gb arrived Friday. Messages app worked fine. Adding photos a breeze. By Saturday night it was slower to add photos. Sunday even slower. Now today, when I try to add a photo to a text, it never populated with my last few photos and crashes after 10 seconds or so.
Already reset network settings. No change

Turning off "Speak Screen" fixed my problem. Thank you. This is obviously another bug.
I have found other bugs for Speak Screen. On my 6 Plus, it will quit working after I "X" out of it the first time. I have to reboot the phone to get it to work again. Same behavior doesn't show on my 5.
So it seems some major bugs with Speak Screen right now.
You totally saved me with this one. Hope it gets fixed in the next update because the two unrelated actions are both quite helpful to me. Thanks for the solve!
i have the same problem too, and the speak screen setting has never been turned on.
Turning off "speak screen" did not fix anything for my situation. Trying to add photo to any app (Messages, Mail, Pixelmator...etc) still crashes all of them. iPad 3. iOS 8.4.1. Problem started about a week ago and did not coincide with anything I can think of, including iOS updates.
