loose screen on the iPhone 6?

Does the top left corner of the iPhone 6 have a slight give when you press on it? Every other corner seems to be solid except for that one corner. I will avoid pressing on it but my concern is that it may become loose in the future.

Thanks for letting us know this issue.

I bought a brand new ip6 yesterday and when opening the box at home I found exactly the same issue. -_-!!!

I am just wondering if I can replace a brand new one or refurbished one (from small white box in the genus bar) from apple store?

Thanks in advance

Since you bought your iP6 just yesterday, if they won't give you a brand new phone, return it for refund and re-buy it. You have 14 days to get your money back, so you should have no issues here. But don't delay returning the phone.

I have same problem here on my 64 GB iPhone 6 Space Gray. When I press on different sides of screen it makes clicking sound and also its screen moves/fluctuates little bit but (actually very very little)

My iPhone 6 has official guarantee and I already sent it to the authorized technical service the day after I bought the phone. (03.12.2015) However, they said that we could not see any problem after 12 days later.(03.24.2015) I made a phone call with an apple support they only told me to send it to another service. Oh, another 12 days without phone I really cannot stand. Apple should produce iPhone more properly since here in Turkey, there is only 2 Apple Stores (at another city) and other technical services don't care enough which means zero customer satisfaction for me. How technical service cannot know about this issue even they are authorized by Apple.

Ah I really don't know what more can I do? I wasted so much time. Really disappointed and unhappy.

I am now onto my 4th iPhone 6 64GB Space Grey. This one has lasted about 4 weeks before developing the clicking screen. This time its at the very top left corner and very bottom right corner and I have also now noticed there is a small gap appearing between the screen and the frame. Again I am going back to the 'Genius Bar' to see if I can get yet another phone. The last time they opened three phones before I found one that wasn't faulty. This is obviously a massive problem having looked on YouTube there are hundreds of videos from people with the same issues. Apple are keeping silent because people like us just keep buying their products. No doubt I will get another replacement which will again become faulty but I will continue with this until I eventually get a phone that is up to Apples usually high standards. I have contacted several newspapers and also The GADGET SHOW to try and get this problem brought to light but nobody seems interested in taking up the fight. I will keep you all updated on any progress I make. Happy days 😠

Here i am with the exactly same Problem as you all guys have.

I have my brand new iPhone 6 spacegray 64gb since about nearly 1 month. Yesterday i randomly pressed the screen in the bottom right corner and i noticed, that the Screen made some noise. So i watched it more closely and noticed, that the screen doesn't fit exactly in the body. It protrudes a little.

And if i press the screen in the bottom right corner, the screen makes some noise, not everytime, but sometimes. But my biggest "Problem" is, that the screen protrudes a little from the aluminium body.

So i made an appointment at the genius bar...lets see if the gonna exchange it. Ist that an issue or is it normal?

I have no clicking in the left top corner.

i have the same problem here. fresh out of the box iphone 6 silver

-> loose screen on the right bottom corner

-> even some scratches at this region

-> scratches on the lightning port

apple phone support is very poor and can only offer to switch to a refurbished phone. really disappointing as i paid 700$ for a NEW phone, the least i expect is a working and clean version.

should this be the apple quality standard???

i think is one of the first time i heard this issue is solved by (smehow very easy and quick) repairing and not by replacing the phone

what means "They took the screen off and on again" ??

they actually did that in front of you?

isn't the screen somehow "glued".. at least in some areas..?

how exactly did they do it several times?

is it now still sturdy and no part is loose when presed?

give us all details of how they repaired your phone, and what is the cause that this flaw occurs. maybe this is th ekey to an easy fix/repair for this issue

thank in advance for answering!

Well first of all i have to say what exactly my problem was: The screen was a bit loose in the right bottom corner so that you could press it down. But there was no loud clicking noise, only a very silent one, not a so big problem, i mean there was no noise that would have been a problem. The screen isnt glued.

Yesterday i had my appointment at the genius bar, i showed my phone one of the employee, he immediately recognized my problem and checked if the frame was warped or if its a "problem of the screen". He said that the frame is okay and that he will simply unscrew the display and will screw it again on the frame. He did that in the workshop. When he was done he showed me the phone and the loose screen was gone...till today the screen is absolutly fixed, no loose screen. Great!

He said if the screen gets losse again ill get a new scree, and if the problem would even appear with the new replacement screen i'll get a new phone.

But till now the screen is abolutly fixed!

He said that it looks like that the screen does not lock in all areas so that the screen hast to be unscrewed and screwed on again so that the screen locks in all areas of the phone. Looks like exactly this was my problem.

I also checked all the phones in the apple store, none of the phones had a loose screen in one of the edges! Simply no one! I couldnt believe this because a lot people here wrote that all of the iPhones have that "loose screen problem"...doesnt look so...

Now i hope that the screen keeps fixed and doesnt get loose again. I'll let you know if the screen gets loose again.

My original release date iPhone 6 did this straight out of the box. By March it was not only the bottom right of the screen but the bottom left. I was afraid it would fall out... Took it to an apple store, and the genius bar employee said his was doing the same thing, but not as bad. NO drops, no bangs, dings, scratches or scuffs. It was in an apple case from the start and stayed in there. So he replaced the phone... About 2 weeks later the new phone started doing the same thing. Now my girlfriend is complaining her is doing the same thing. I hope there is some kind of recall or something... Very annoying. I'm sure it would be easy to fix with a dab of super glue, but who would want to to permanently seal their phone?

hmm.. it sounds to good to be true.

how many of all the people who have this issue in this thread try this solution and worked... ?

anyway, Steelviu, before your issue to be fixed, in which part of your phone/screen you had to press for the losseness (and/or "click" sound) to occur?

IF it would be this easy and simple, this solution would be a KNOWN FIX verified by everybody... and except the fact that accessing-those-screws-by-a-screwdriver-by-yourself would void the warranty all the people (including me) would embrace it and be happy about it...
