loose screen on the iPhone 6?

Does the top left corner of the iPhone 6 have a slight give when you press on it? Every other corner seems to be solid except for that one corner. I will avoid pressing on it but my concern is that it may become loose in the future.

I was assured a replacement and now its been over week and I am without a phone, moreover the apple people are just saying we will provide you a solution soon. they are not being clear, I am now feeling harrased 😢

And what, exactly, are you expecting anyone here to do about it?

If Apple has said they are going to replace your device, then contact Apple and ask for an update.

Ask to speak to a Senior Advisor if the person you talk to doesn't give you a good answer.

sir can you please advice me what to do next. The senior advisor said that he can't help since the hardware experts are considering the loose screen as a normal characteristic and this does not affect the functionality of the phone. The phone clicks everytime i press it. Before the service attempt, the phone used to click very intermittently.

Thanks

I had posted my issue under this thread, but then i was directed to this thread, which is much larger (and scary!)

My iPhone 6 screen is making a clicking sound under light pressure towards the bottom of the screen.

I went to the wireless service provider's (Du - in UAE) outlet to get my phone changed. They agreed to change it and gave me a new phone as replacement. I decided to check this new phone in front of store representative. It had the same issue on the left side top corner. So he pulled out 3rd phone from their store. BAMMM... same issue again.. at right side bottom corner. It was unbelievable, 3 Iphone 6 models right in front of me, with same issue. This is definitely not expected of such an expensive phone, that too from APPLE!

Thankfully the store realized what was happening and refunded my full payment in cash immediately (also coz they ran out of stock for space grey phone color!). So now I have a faulty Iphone 5 (with camera issue - My IPhone 5s camera isn't turning on, the screen is black for every app I use for the camera and none of them work. I've turned my phone off and on again and that didn't work and I also tried resettingy phone. Any suggestions on how to fix it?) and have seen 3 Iphone 6 with loose screen panel...!!

I can tell you what is causing the issue, in the top left corner at least. The clips which hold the screen in place run all the way up the right side of the screen, but only half way up the left hand side, This is the same design as iphone 5/5c/5s, but due to the larger screen on the 6 the movement is far more noticeable. This is why you're getting the same issue again even after swapping for brand new handset.

I have the exact same issue. Went to Apple Store on Tuesday where they reseated my display and the problem went from intermittent and not too bad to constant and may be 2 or 3 times worse so tonight I went back ... As they told me I should on Tuesday if I had any more problems.

Now I'm in the situation that I have to try taking the phone back to Carphone Warwhouse instead as Apple will not accept that this clicking is a fault. They even documented it for me to show CPW. But they say 'it's due to how the phone is made' that the screen clicks. I say it's faulty becuase they don't all do it.

It's total BS. I have bought every iPhone they have made up to getting 6+ in December. I will think hard before buying any more Apple products.

The option for a 1 time exchange was presented but I declined and am going to fight them on this as far as I can until they fix my phone. Or they can give me money back. They have to accept that these phones are faulty.

Maybe it's because I have AppleCare Plus, but I'm on my 5th iPhone 6 due to the first 4 all having one issue or another (it was number 3 and 4 that had the screen clicking problem, first two had display defects). Finally this 5th one is pretty much perfect (full disclosure, I did hear some screen clicking but it went away and I haven't noticed it again after a while of having it). I don't understand how they're saying you can't swap it out for another after only doing it once since I was able to so many times (unless it was the applecare plus coming into play).

This is definitely a major defect in these phones and hopefully one that will never show up in future models.

As they are happy to do a one time replace with no future comeback - I'm gonna just play the game and wait until I'm at 11 months and 29 days then take them up on a new phone...by then your rights and warranty are pretty much done anyway.

After owning every model of iPhone since the original non 3G launch phone - I will be considering my alternative options in the future now when it's time to get a new phone.

No, they don't. Because they have access to records for a much greater number of iPhones than either you and I. Apple is the final determining body when it comes to deciding if a device is faulty.

Agreed of course...they seemed to acknowledge these issues were 'faults' a few months ago...but now may be the issue got so big it's gonna cost them a ton of $$$ so it's better to play the current card - i.e your phone screen is supposed to click. Total BS.
