loose screen on the iPhone 6?

Does the top left corner of the iPhone 6 have a slight give when you press on it? Every other corner seems to be solid except for that one corner. I will avoid pressing on it but my concern is that it may become loose in the future.

I had/have this problem. I noticed it last month in June and I had to go to the Genius Bar 3 times so they could give me a replacement. The first time they said my screws were loose on the bottom of my iPhone 6 and he tightened them up. The second time they replaced the screen. And the third time they finally gave me replacement. But I noticed the clicking again on my phone so I'm about to go in for a fourth time. I also noticed it on a friends phone on the bottom right corner. On my phone the top-mid left hand side now. I thought it was just me, but I guess not. You should Deff go into the Genius Bar for an appointment to get it fixed or replaced.

Hello Maria,

Apple gave me a brand new one after some days. 🙂

I had read a lot about this issue before taking my iPhone to the assistance and I can assure you that this is a known problem of the iPhone 6 and Apple is aware about it.

I'm certain Apple will solve this problem as long your device is under warranty here in Brazil and it was not misuse or some similar type of accident.

Best regards, please leave a feedback after you have some news about this subject

I would say that mine and many other Iphone 6 are not making this clicking sound, so you should go to the MacStore to sort the issue. But if you change the phone insist on a new from the box, this will increase your chances of sucess. The exchange phones without a box are refabs - those are the very worst possible quality.

But while saying this and doing - bear in mind - I have changed the phone almost 20 times - it always clicks, screen moves, forms a front camera crescent etc. - it is just a very low quality very high priced product. However, there is no real alternative if you like what IOS does.

Good luck

Well, on my first iPhone 6, the problem was that screws were loose. Tightening them fixed it but I had another problem with the phone speaker. Long story short, it had to be changed. On the new one I got, the problem with the screen was back. This time the screws were too tight, but unscrewing them a bit fixed it. Just letting you guys know that it could be both things, either the screws are loose or too tight. Have a good one!

Is there any official document released from apple stating that the iphone 6 has a defect? I bought mine through my service provider and they do not want to replace or return it

No there is not. Take it to your closest Apple Store. You have a one year warranty (two if you purchased AppleCare+) and they are still responsible for addressing warranty issues.

I am also facing the same issue.

I bought 2 new iphone 6 16gb(both purchased on same day).

one of them is working fine,

but on other device I am having the issue of loose display panel.

I went to apple service center but they said they will not replace my phone because its not a hardware issue, they can only repair it.

SERIOUSLY APPLE???

YOUR PEOPLE THINK THAT A LOOSE DISPLAY PANEL IS NOT A HARDWARE ISSUE???????

EVEN A 10 YEAR OLD CHILD CAN TELL YOU THAT ITS A HARDWARE ISSUE.

I posted a video here https://youtu.be/aEkyZb86KRc

Can anybody tell me how to get a replacement

and where to file complaint against that service center??

Given it's two little screws that need to be tightened (some here have done this themselves), it hardly seems worthy of total replacement. Why not just let them tighten the two screws and be done with this.

If your car window becomes loose and it can be tightened, do you expect your car dealer to replace the car? Of course not. Maybe your expectations are unrealistic.

I would suggest no to replace the phone, just fix it. However if you replace, insist on a new in a box phone.

DO not replace with anything else. It will be a refab, which is horrable business.

I Think Apple should not sell the products in sealed boxes, since there are too many production wasters..

If you go to the store you might be able to see all sorts of wasters in showrooms. The customer should be able to check the product before buying.
