loose screen on the iPhone 6?

Does the top left corner of the iPhone 6 have a slight give when you press on it? Every other corner seems to be solid except for that one corner. I will avoid pressing on it but my concern is that it may become loose in the future.

This is a major issue with Apple iPhone 6 replacement! I do not know how they passed through QC but those replacement phones are terrible. I had a pair of iPhone 6 128GB retail out of the box and both had the front camera lens alignment issue. I brought in to Apple store and they refused to repair, instead they replace me a second hand version and the screen is loose that you can press it. Same thing happen to my wife's phone and when they gave a second one I inspect and it's even more worst than the other one. I asked for a 3rd one and it was dirty...I can actually see the greasy dirt stuck in the edged between the lcd and the frame. I demand another one and they refused and said they already replaced 2 even though both of those are defective and still not even power on. Genius bar manager told me it was part of the Apple's manufacturing process and I was so shocked that she actually said that to me.

Long story short they replaced me 4 iPhone 6 already and they all experience loose lcd screen that you can press it down and feel it. I have another appointment which make it a 5th times.....just hard to believe it was an Apple product! I wonder if anyone at the corporate office aware of the issues.

Its terrible that after a span of almost 1 year after launch still Apple cannot fix this problem.

I bought iPhone 6 64GB version and after few days i noticed that top right corner is loose. I remember this issue when iPhone 6 was launched last year but was quite sure that Apple would have resolved it by now. Alas moreover Machines at Malaysia cannot give hand to hand replacement even i am within week time rather i have to wait for 14 days for replacement and what next the problem will again pop up as Apple still didn't fix the issue.

Highly disappointed by Apple quality of product. Its one of the most expensive phone on planet.

Brought my two iPhone 6 128GB to Apple Store today and the technician saw and admitted there is a problem with then screen loose and clicking but the Store Manager state he didn't see anything wrong with it and refused to fix it. Even the front camera lens or blades got misaligned but still refused to fix and keep saying they're functionally fine....I got really ****** because it's my 7th times trying to get it fix or replaced with the same issue while still under warranty.

Well, dear Apple the phone of course functionally fine but the hardware obviously has issues and need to be fix to those customers affected!

To investigate the case myself, I purchased three (3) brand new iPhone 6 128GB Gold, Silver and Space Gray at the store and went home open it out.....and guess what? All three phones looks very dusty, the protect plastic scratches like it's been opened before and most importantly the screen is loosing as well!

I just cannot believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Something must be wrong at the assembly or packaging line. I never seen such dirty iphones out of a retail box before but this time I experience three (3) at the same time.

Now the stores claiming they see nothing wrong with it and said that's the way Apple manufacturing. Now waiting for my advisor the response and see what action to take next.

My experience with Apple iPhone 6, this is my letter to Applecare:

On Monday I received the replacement device for my iPhone 6. As you can see from my case, I have replaced this phone 1st time in Service center 14.05.2015 (when I have been using the faulty phone that had the front camera shifted for 1/2 a year). After this I have been receiving replacement devices which all were faulty more than 8 times with all different sort of problems, but mostly front camera crescent, cracks, some objects inside front camera and moving screen. Apple service center has checked and confirmed each and every fault I have had.

Since I felt that the Service center cannot help me, I returned the device directly to you - Applecare. You replaced the phone 3 times. Sending brand new faulty phones back to me. In total I spent 60 days replacing the production wasters.

The phone I have now, this replacement, has the screen not fitted properly, so it moves when gently press on it near the volume buttons (I went into a shop today and checked other phones there, they don't do that of course) ..

Now I am not sure if the camera will shift forming a crescent in near future or anything else bad will show up to the replacement you sent me.. But what I am absolutely sure is that Apple iPhone 6 is the worst quality product I have ever had and there is no point really in replacing the phone, since it comes back faulty with the same or some other problem. Except a strong feeling that I want to have a quality product Apple promises, but doesn't deliver.

So, basically, even though you have replaced the device more than 10 times, I am very unhappy with the result, since I still have a faulty device. It is working for now, so I will replace it later (probably) as well as (probably) place a complaint to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre, but I am just sick and tired of the process for now and can't be bothered on paying the lawyer and spending any more time on this currently.

So, truly, this is the worst device I have ever had. Since it is faulty to start with and it gets replaced by factory wasters.

I can only throw out the phones of course, but that is stupid and does not really make sense, since it is quite expensive, as well as I bought everything Apple last year November - phones, iPad, tv, airport, macbook etc. and they are supposed to work best together.

I thank you all for your kind patience and understanding. The service you provided was outstanding.

I can only feel for you, that you have to service the lowest possible quality product.

Have a very nice day.

p.s.

Just to mention - during the same time, my wife's iPhone 6 was replaced 4 times due to cracks and screen movement. The screen moves also now on the replacement device, but I am simply sick and tired of continuing the replacement process since it proves to be pointless. So as I said, the device is clearly faulty, but I will proceed maybe later.. However probably pointless. Also - I replaced iPad air 2 twice at the service center due to production faults.

I had/have this problem. I noticed it last month in June and I had to go to the Genius Bar 3 times so they could give me a replacement. The first time they said my screws were loose on the bottom of my iPhone 6 and he tightened them up. The second time they replaced the screen. And the third time they finally gave me replacement. But I noticed the clicking again on my phone so I'm about to go in for a fourth time. I also noticed it on a friends phone on the bottom right corner. On my phone the top-mid left hand side now. I thought it was just me, but I guess not. You should Deff go into the Genius Bar for an appointment to get it fixed or replaced.

Hello Maria,

Apple gave me a brand new one after some days. 🙂

I had read a lot about this issue before taking my iPhone to the assistance and I can assure you that this is a known problem of the iPhone 6 and Apple is aware about it.

I'm certain Apple will solve this problem as long your device is under warranty here in Brazil and it was not misuse or some similar type of accident.

Best regards, please leave a feedback after you have some news about this subject

I would say that mine and many other Iphone 6 are not making this clicking sound, so you should go to the MacStore to sort the issue. But if you change the phone insist on a new from the box, this will increase your chances of sucess. The exchange phones without a box are refabs - those are the very worst possible quality.

But while saying this and doing - bear in mind - I have changed the phone almost 20 times - it always clicks, screen moves, forms a front camera crescent etc. - it is just a very low quality very high priced product. However, there is no real alternative if you like what IOS does.

Good luck
